Mount Bromo located in the area of National Park Bromo Tengger Semeru which is extended in four cities in East Java Province, those are Probolinggo, Malang, Pasuruan, and Lumajang. To reach mount Bromo you can take an overland trip to Cemoro Lawang Probolinggo, and then you can hire Jeep Hardtop to go to Penanjakan sunrise viewpoint and explore seas of sand and the crater of Mount Bromo. This mount was popular with the very-very beautiful sunrise view, the tourist has to climb early morning to the top of the mount to enjoy the beautiful moment of sunrise between the mountains and active crater of Bromo, the perfect place to enjoy sunrise is in the Penanjakan. If you’re lucky, when you get down of the mount, you can see rainbow extended above seas of sand between the cliffs which surround that area. In addition to enjoying the sunrise, you can also enjoy the landscape of National Park Bromo Tengger Semeru, Mount Batok and Mount Semeru, seas of sand and the wide caldera and the hill of Teletubbies and “Pure Poten” or Poten temple which is located at central of seas of sand, this place usually used for religious ceremonies by the local peoples of Tengger tribe.

07:00 am If you want to add Madakaripura waterfall tour before Bromo, we have to start this tour 1 hour earlier, if not then we will start the tour as follow.

08:00 am We will pick up you at your hotel or any places inside Surabaya city, take a simple introduction with our crew and a short brief of the tour. Then departs to Cemoro Lawang at the foot of Mt. Bromo, this will takes around 3-3,5 hours drive depends on the traffic conditions.
11:00 am We will arrive at Cemoro Lawang village at the foot of Mt. Bromo. Take a short rest. Next we will exchange our transportation into 4wd car (Hardtop) and takes another one hour drive to Penanjakan viewpoint, here you can enjoy the stunning landscape of Bromo Tengger Semeru national park and trekking to the crater rim of Bromo, we will also watch in close up to the Poten temple in the center of sea of the sands.
02:00 pm We will continue the tour and visit the photo stop at the part of the sea of sands.
03:00 am Back to Cemoro Lawang village, take a rest and lunch.
04:00 am Transfer you back to Surabaya, takes another 3,5 hours drive.
08:00 pm Finish the tour in Surabaya.

08:00am Kami akan menjemput Anda di hotel atau tempat lainnya di dalam kota Surabaya, perkenalan dengan crew kami dan briefing singkat tour. Kemudian berangkat menuju Cemoro Lawang di kaki gunung Bromo, perjalanan berlangsung kurang lebih 3 jam tergantung kondisi lalu lintas.
11:00am Kita akan tiba di Cemoro Lawang, break sejenak selagi kami menyiapkan kendaraan 4WD (Hardtop) untuk Anda. Dengan menggunakan kendaraan tersebut kita akan menjelajahi spot-spot menarik di Bromo antara lain Penanjakan point untuk menikmati keindahan landscape taman nasional Bromo Tengger Semru dari ketinggian, kita juga akan trekking ke kawah Bromo dan melihat lebih dekat Pure Poten
02:00pm Kita akan menuju photo stop di lautan pasir, dapatkan foto terbaik lautan pasir Bromo.
03:00pm Kembali ke Cemoro Lawang, istirahat dan Makan siang.
04:00pm Perjalanan kembali ke Surabaya, kurang lebih 3,5 jam
08:00pm Finish the tour in Surabaya.

Mount Bromo

In addition to enjoying the sunrise moment from Penanjakan, you can also enjoy the landscape of National Park Bromo Tengger Semeru, Mount Batok and Mount Semeru, seas of land and the wide caldera and the hill of Teletubbies and “Pure Poten” which is located at central of seas of sand, this place usually used for religious ceremonies by the people of Tengger.

Madakaripura Waterfalls

Not too far from the slopes of Bromo, there Madakaripura historic Falls, this is the hermitage Gajahmada, the great prime minister of Majapahit kingdom. Madakaripura Waterfalls can be reached about 45 minutes from Bromo. When we got to the main gate of the waterfalls, we had to walk about 20 minutes to reach the locations, I think this is the tallest waterfall in East Java or even in Indonesia. I suggest you use mountain shoes because the area of Waterfall is wet and slippery. On the way to the waterfalls you can see the moss covered rock wall, this happens because of wind gusts that contain water with high levels caused sparks Waterfalls.

Itinerary

Day 1

22.00 – 23.00: Briefing and introduction on a meeting point.

23.00 – 00.00: We will drive to Bromo, it will take about 3 hours trip, we recommend you to spend the time for rest.

Day 2

00.00 – 02.00: the Ongoing trip from Surabaya to Bromo.

02.00 – 03.00: We will arrive at Bromo at the latest 02 am, rest for a while and tea time.

03.00 – 04.00: Start to explore Bromo using an off-road vehicle called Hardtop. we will visit Penanjakan for enjoying sunrise of Bromo. This is the best place to enjoy the sunrise and beautiful mountain landscape of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.

04.00 – 06.00: enjoy sunrise Bromo.

06.00 – 11.00: Explore Bromo: Trekking mount Bromo to the crater, next explore savannah of Bromo (Teletubbies hill) and the last whispering sands, then back to the rest area.

11.00 – 12.00: Have lunch after exploring Bromo.

12.00 – 13.00: We will continue the trip to visit Madakaripura waterfalls.

13.00 – 15.00: Have fun and enjoy the waterfalls

15.00 – 18.00: Back to Surabaya.

18.00 – 19.00: Drop off to the planned place

Air Terjun Madakaripura

Tidak terlalu jauh dari lereng Bromo, terdapat Air Terjun Madakaripura yang bersejarah, ini adalah tempat pertapaan Mahapatih Majahit Gajah Mada. Air Terjun Madakaripura dapat dicapai sekitar 45 menit dari kawasan Bromo. Saat kita tiba ke gerbang utama Air Terjun Madakaripura, Kita harus berjalan sekitar 20 menit untuk mencapai lokasi Air Terjun, menurut saya ini adalah air terjun tertinggi di Jawa Timur atau bahkan di Indonesia. Saya sarankan anda untuk menggunakan sepatu gunung, karena daerah Air Terjun ini basah dan licin. Bila Anda menoleh kiri dan kanan Anda dapat melihat lumut menutupi dinding tebing di jalan menuju Air Terjun, hal ini terjadi karena hembusan angin yang mengandung air dengan kadar tinggi disebabkan percikan Air Terjun.
