Itinerary

Day 1 – Surabaya – Banyuwangi

We will pick up you from Surabaya then directly we will go to Banyuwangi, the trip will takes approximately 8 hours until we arrive to the nearest village around Alas Purwo National Park. During the trip we suppose to the participant to use for rest.

Day 2 – Explore Taman Nasional Alas Purwo (B|L|D)

We will arrive at home stay in the nearest village to Alas Purwo National Park around 05.00am, then check in home stay for rest and breakfast then on 06.00 am we will leave the home stay and immediately head toward Bedul beach, we will cross a small bay with a boat, after we satisfied taking the pictures, we will be picked up by off-road vehicle (FWD) and begin Alas Purwo National Park exploration. At first we will visit Ngagelan beach, to visit the turtle conservation center, throughout the year, especially in the dry season, the turtle will land along the coast of Alas Purwo, although with little intensity, turtle conservation area centered on the Ngagelan beach, from Ngagelan, we will go further into the Alas Purwo, approximately 30 minutes from Ngagelan we will arrive at the Pancur beach, one of the bustling beaches inside Alas Purwo, from Pancur we will trek for about 1 km to visit Istana cave, one of cave in Alas Purwo are still frequently used by residents as a place of penance, after quite satisfied we will return to the Pancur beach and have lunch then a short break.

Next we will proceed towards Plengkung beach, this beach is very popular as one of the best surfing spots in the world, on its best season between May till October, Plengkung’s waves can reach heights of 6-7 meters with an interval of 1 km and could achieve more, this is a paradise for surfers. We can enjoy the attraction from a distance, using binoculars to be able to see more clearly the action of the professional surfers. Approximately 3 pm we will return to Pancur, then we will head toward Sadengan, a natural savanna in Purwo Alas, here we can find many species of birds like peacocks etc, Javanese wild bull, deer, wild boar, wolves in the certain time. Before late afternoon we will leave Sadengan and head Luhur Giri Salaka temple, a sacred Hindu temple, from here we will go back to the Bedul beach and then back to home stay to have rest, dinner will be served at home stay and then free activities and overnight.

Day 3 – Banyuwangi – Surabaya (B,L)

Early morning we will visit the local’s farm for agro tour to enjoy fresh orange, You also can wrap the fruits to bring it home then we will back to home stay and having breakfast. Next we will check out from home stay and visit Maria cave, an antic and popular church in Banyuwangi, we can enjoy the interior of this church while documenting our pictures. Next we will back to Surabaya, we will arrive at Surabaya around 07.00 pm. Tour program ends.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Surabaya – Banyuwangi

Kami akan menjemput peserta di tempat yang ditentukan di Surabaya, selanjutnya kita akan langsung menuju Banyuwangi, perjalanan akan berlangsung selama kurang lebih 8 jam sampai kita tiba di desa terdekat dengan Taman Nasional Alas Purwo, selama perjalanan disarankan untuk istirahat.

Day 2 – Explore Taman Nasional Alas Purwo (B|L|D)

Kurang lebih jam 04.00 pagi kita akan tiba di home stay, kemudian istirahat sejenak dan sarapan pagi. Kurang lebih jam 06.00 pagi kita akan meninggalkan home stay dan segera menuju pantai Bedul, kita akan menyebrangi sebuah teluk kecil dengan perahu, setelah puas berfoto-foto kita akan dijemput dengan kendaraan off road (FWD) dan memulai explorasi Taman Nasional Alas Purwo, mula-mula kita akan menuju pantai Ngagelan, untuk mengunjungi konservasi penyu, sepanjang tahun terutama di musim kemarau, penyu akan mendarat di sepanjang pantai Alas Purwo, walaupun dengan intensitas kecil, kawasan konservasi penyu dipusatkan di pantai Ngagelan, selanjutnya dari pantai Ngagelan, kita akan masuk lebih jauh ke dalam Alas Purwo, kurang lebih 30 menit dari Ngagelan kita akan tiba di pantai Pancur, salah pantai yang ramai di dalam Alas Purwo, dari pantai Pancur kita akan trekking selama kurang lebih 1 km menuju Goa Istana, salah satu Goa di dalam Alas Purwo yang masih sering digunakan oleh penduduk sebagai tempat bertapa, setelah cukup puas kita akan kembali ke pantai Pancur dan makan siang dan break sejenak.

Selanjutnya kita akan melanjutkan menuju pantai Pelengkung, pantai ini sangat popular sebagai salah satu tempat berselancar terbaik di dunia, pada musim terbaiknya antara bulan Mei sd Oktober ombak di pantai Plengkung bisa mencapai ketinggian 6-7 meter dengan interval bisa mencapai 1 km lebih, ini merupakan surge bagi para peselancar. Kita bisa menikmati atraksi tersebut dari kejauhan, gunakan teropong untuk dapat melihat lebih jelas aksi peselancar professional tersebut. Kurang lebih jam 3 sore kita akan kembali menuju Pancur, selanjutnya kita akan menuju Sadengan, sebuah savanna alami di dalam Alas Purwo, di sini kita bisa menemukan banyak jenis burung seperti merak dll, banteng jawa liar, kijang, babi hutan, serigala di waktu-waktu tertentu. Sebelum terlampau sore kita akan meninggalkan savanna Sadengan dan menuju pura Luhur Giri Salaka, sebuah pura suci umat Hindu, dari sini kita akan kembali ke Pantai Bedul dan kembali ke home stay, untuk istirahat dan makan malam, acara bebas dan istirahat.

Day 3 – Banyuwangi – Surabaya (B,L)

Pagi-pagi sekali kita akan mengunjungi kebun penduduk untuk wisata agro dan menikmati buah jeruk segar langsung dari pohonnya, Anda juga bisa membungkusnya untuk oleh-oleh, setelah itu kembali ke home stay dan sarapan. Setelah itu kita akan check out dari home stay dan mengunjungi Goa Maria, sebuah gereja antic yang terkenal, kita bisa berfoto-foto di dalamnya, setelah cukup puas kita akan kembali ke Surabaya, diperkirakan tiba di Surabaya pada jam 19.00 malam. Program tour selesai.

G-Land Plengkung

For surfing sport hobbyist, they would be familiar with G-Land Plengkung, one of the beaches on the southern coast of Java, precisely in Banyuwangi, this beach has one of the best waves in the world for surfing sport, you do not need all the way come to Hawaii to be able to enjoy the best waves for surfing, Plengkung beach is enough, in his best season between the May through September, the waves on the shore could reach 6-8 m high and come in one after another as the series of 7 to 8 with a wave length could reach 2 kilometers, typical of such waves is what surfing hobbyist favored because it produces quite a long time to enjoy the roll of the waves, because the height of the waves, beginer surfers not recommended at this beach, only those who already a professional surfer can surf on this beach. Bagi penghobi olahraga surfing atau selancar air, mereka tentu tidak asing dengan kata G-Land Plengkung, salah satu pantai di pesisir selatan jawa, persisnya di Kabupaten Banyuwangi , pantai ini memiliki salah satu ombak terbaik di dunia untuk berselancar, kalian tidak perlu jauh-jauh datang ke Hawai untuk dapat menikmati ombak terbaik untuk selancar, cukup di pantai Plengkung, di musim terbaiknya antara bulan mei sampai dengan september, ombak di pantai ini bisa mencapai tinggi 6-8 meter dan datang susul-menyusul sebanyak 7-8 deret dengan panjang ombak bisa mencapai 2 kilometer, tipikal ombak seperti inilah yang digemari penghobi selancar karena menghasilkan waktu yang cukup lama untuk menikmati gulungan ombaknya, karena ketinggian ombaknya, peselancar pemula tidak direkomendasikan berselencar di pantai ini, hanya mereka yang sudah professional saja dapat berselancar di pantai plengkung. Walaupun demikian bagi anda yang masih pemula tetap dapat berselancar di lokasi yang tidak jauh dari pantai plengkung, ada sebuah tempat yang disebut tiger track, masih satu garis pantai dengan plengkung, di pantai ini ombak tidak setinggi di plengkung, peselancar pemula bisa beraksi di sini.

Ada 3 level kategori ombak di pantai plengkung, pertama adalah Kong Waves, level tertinggi, ketinggian ombak di level ini berada pada kisaran 6-8 meter, peselancar professional selalu menginginkan ombak tipikal ini. Kedua Speedis Waves dengan ketinggian ombak antara 5-6 meter, dan Ketiga, Many Waves dengan ketinggian ombak 3-4 meter, cocok bagi para peselancar pemula yang ingin mengasah skill surfingnya, karena ketinggian ombaknya yang datang susul-menysusul tersebut Pantai Plengkung memiliki label The Saven Giant Waves Wonder. Namun, untuk dapat menikmati gulungan ombak tersebut para peselancar harus berenang ke tengah dengan papan selancarnya kurang lebih 1 kilometer dari tepi pantai, lelah berenang dengan jarak yang cukup jauh tersebut akan terbayar lunas saat peselancar bisa meluncur di antara gulungan ombak tinggi plengkung.

Pantai Plengkung juga memiliki sebutan G-Land karena beberapa hal, pertama karena diambil dari nama Teluk Grajakan tempat pantai plengkung berada, “G” di sini berarti Grajakan, kedua “Green” karena letak pantai plengkung berada di dalam Taman Nasional Alas Purwo, salah satu hutan tropis alami tertua di tanah Jawa yang masih terjaga kelestariannya sampai saat ini, dan ketiga “Great” karena ombaknya yang besar dan panjang dan terakhir karena garis pantai di lokasi ini menyerupai huruf “G”.

Akses jalan menuju pantai plengkung saat ini memang terbilang cukup berat, karena selaian ia terletak di Kab. Banyuwangi di ujung timur pulau jawa, kita juga harus menyusuri tepi Alas Purwo yang kondisi jalannya cukup berat, tapi tidak perlu hawatir, karena akses transportasi tersedia sampai titik pantai. Akses darat dari Kab. Jember atau Banyuwangi  akan melewati kecamatan Benculuk, dari sini ada ojek atau mobil yang bisa disewa menuju Alas Purwo ke sebuah tempat yang disebut Pancur, lokasi terakhir di mana kendaraan pribadi dilarang masuk lebih jauh, dari Pancur ini disediakan angkutan pickup yang akan membawa anda langsung ke Pantai Plengkung dengan sewa Rp. 200.000,-. Umumnya para peselancar mancanegara datang ke plengkung dari Bali melalui jalur laut dengan menggunakan Speedboat khusus.

Lalu bagaimana dengan akomodasi penginapan ? Di dalam kawasan pantai plengkung terdapat beberapa surfing camp yang memang khusus memfasilitasi para peselancar yang ingin menginap, namun sayangnya terbilang cukup mahal bagi para wisatawan lokal, karena rupanya surfing camp ini lebih diperuntukkan untuk surfer mancanegara dan karena itu transaksi di camp-camp surfing ini bisa menggunakan mata uang Dollar. Sebenarnya akan lebih akomodatif lagi jika di dalam kawasan ini juga disediakan camp untuk para peselancar domestik yang disewakan dengan harga terjangkau, untuk memberi kesempatan peselancar lokal berlama-lama menikmati megahnya ombak pantai plengkung di musim-musim terbaiknya.
