We also know that the Green Canyon itself is beautiful and it’s charm would invite people to come and explore it. Let’s discover the beauty of Green Canyon.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Jakarta – Pangandaran

We will start the tirp from Jakarta in the night to avoid the traffic jam in Jakarta, because we need long time enough to reach Pangandaran, so we will overnight on the way.

Day 2 – Pangadaran – Green Canyon (B, L)

We will arrive at Pangandaran in the morning, next we will have a short break dan breakfast, after that we will directly go to Green Canyon location, after finishing administration entrance fee, we will start body rafting to explore Green Canyon, enjoy the real paradise of Indonesia, that is green shooting eyes, during the exploration we can also swim in the blue clear water stream. Next we will enter the cave to admire the beauty of stalagmite and stalactite, when it is all done we will back and shower before we leave.

Tired because of body rafting at Green Canyon we will stop for lunch while take a short break, next we will back to Pangandaran and stop at Batu Karas beach to enjoy the beauty of this beach. Kali ini kita akan menjelajahi Green Canyon, orang-orang lokal menyebutnya Cukang Taneuh, terletak di Pangandaran, sebenarnya Green Canyon adalah bagian dari aliran sungai Cijulang yang menembus tebing-tebing tinggi dan goa, airnya begitu jernih dengan latar belakang pemandangan alam hijau menyejukkan mata, sesekali hewan-hewan liar lewat di aliran sungai, menambah kealamian sungai ini, di sini wisatawan akan diajak menyusuri aliran sungai dan memasuki goa untuk menyaksikan stalagmite dan stalactite yang menjadi interior bagian dalam goa. Tak perlu orang Perancis yang harus mempopulerkannya, kita pun tau bahwa Green Canyon memang indah dan dengan sendirinya pesona itu akan  mengundang orang untuk datang dan menjelajahinya. Mari kita menelusuri keindahan Green Canyon.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Jakarta – Pangandaran

Kita akan memulai perjalanan dari ibu kota Jakarta di malam hari agar terhindar dari padatnya lalu lintas Jakarta dan memang untuk sampai ke Pangandaran butuh waktu yang cukup lama, jadi kita akan melewatkan malam di perjalanan.

Day 2 – Pangadaran – Green Canyon (B, L)

Kita akan tiba di Pangandaran pagi hari, selanjutnya kita akan break sejenak dan sarapan pagi, setelah itu kita akan langsung menuju Green Canyon, setelah menyelesaikan administrasi pendaftaran kita akan memulai body rafting menyusuri Green Canyon, menikmati surga bumi Indonesia yang hijau menyejukkan mata, selama penelusuran kita juga bisa berenang di aliran sungai yang jernih.  Selanjutnya kita akan masuk ke dalam Goa dan mengagumi keindahan stalagmite dan stalactite, setelah selesai kita bersih-bersih dan mandi.

Lelah setelah body rafting di Green Canyon kita akan makan siang sambil istirahat, setelah itu kita akan kembali ke Pangandaran dan stop di pantai Batu Karas untuk menikmati keindahan pantai yang menjadi spot untuk surfing ini. Sebelum terlampau sore kita akan kembali ke Jakarta, kita akan tiba di Jakarta pada malam hari. Tour selesai.

Green Canyon Pangandaran

GREEN CANYON!! Do not identify it as one of the prestigious tour destination in America, look more to the writing. It’s not the Grand Canyon of America, but it’s Green Canyon of Pangandaran. A beautiful natural tourist destination in West Java. Local people call it “Cukang Taneuh” which means “Land Bridge” because here there are 3 meters wide land bridge over the twin cliffs by the river. Along the river we will flow across the mossy cliffs, almost like a cave by flowing rivers, in the dry season the river water clear greenish color displays basic mossy rocks, probably because it was then called  “The Green Canyon”. I think you should not miss it when visiting Pangandaran – West Java, this is a very fascinating natural wonders.

Route ?

Green Canyon is located in Subdistrict Cijulang, of District Pangandaran, West Java. If you depart from Jakarta, the best route by car is through Bandung to Tasikmalaya. From Tasik, there are two paths that can be taken, which passes east through Tasik City, Ciamis, Banjar city, Pangandaran, Parigi and Cijulang. This path has a distance about 170 km. The second path is the south route cross Tasik city, Cipatujah, Cikalong, Cimanuk then Cijulang, with a distance of approximately 60 km.

Although shorter, the south route line is not recommended for those who want to quickly get to the Green Canyon. Pacing iron sand trucks activity at the track resulted in severely damaged of the south path and make it longer trips.

Entrance Tickets Fee?

Prepare enough cash when you visit the Green Canyon, because there is no ATM  in these places. Boat is the only transportation from the pier to the Green Canyon, you can rent a boat for IDR 125,000 for maximum six persons. If you want to swim then you’ll be charged extra. We recommend you to come to this place as a group, so you can share your cost within your group, this will make boat rental costs could be lighter.

Activity?

You will be stunned and screaming while standing staring at the beauty of this nature, then take your camera to capture the beauty of every corner of Green Canyon. Last swim under stalactites feel the cool water penetrating your skin.

Accommodation?

You don’t have to be confused if you are hungry after swimming and enjoy the beauty of Green Canyon. A number of food stalls available adjacent to the parking location. You also can look for souvenirs such as T-shirts at the same location. For lodging you can take a trip around one hour to Pangandaran. There you’ll find more lodging with varying prices. But, if you have been very tired, do not hesitate to stay at the orphanage Batu Karas region, approximately 15 minutes from Green Canyon.

Time to visit?

If you do not want to queue do not come on the weekend, there are pretty much visitors on week end. However, if you have only on the week end for your holiday vacation, we advise you to arrive earlier. Green Canyon is open from 07.30 until 16.00. Do not come during the rainy season. Because it is probable Green Canyon closed due to rising water discharge. The best time visit is during the dry season, because the river water is green, clear and calm.

Things to bring?

Should prepare a change of clothes if you plan to swim in the Green Canyon. Do not forget to bring a waterproof camera to capture the moment when you swim. Do not worry if you do not bring a life jacket, because the boatman has provided a life jacket for you.

Green Canyon Pangandaran

GREEN CANYON!! Jangan dulu mengidentifikasinya sebagai salah satu wisata prestisius di Amerika, lihat lagi tulisannya. Ini bukan Grand Canyon – nya Amerika, tapi Green Canyon – nya Pangandaran. Sebuah destinasi wisata alam nan indah di Jawa Barat, orang-orang lokal menyebutnya “Cukang Taneuh” yang berarti “Jembatan Tanah” karena di sini ada jembatan tanah selebar 3 meter di atas tebing kembar di tepi sungai. Sepanjang aliran sungai kita akan melintasi tebing-tebing yang berlumut, hampir menyerupai gua yang dialiri sungai, di musim kemarau air sungai jernih kehijauan menampilkan warna dasar bebatuan yang berlumut, mungkin karena itulah kemudian disebut “Green Canyon”. Menurutku Anda tak boleh melewatkannya saat berkunjung ke Pangandaran – Jawa Barat, ini adalah keajaiban alam yang sangat mempesona.

Rute?

Green Canyon terletak di Kecamatan Cijulang, Kabupaten Pangandaran, Jawa Barat. Jika Anda berangkat dari Jakarta, jalur terbaik menggunakan mobil adalah lewat Bandung menuju Tasikmalaya. Dari Tasik, ada dua jalur yang bisa ditempuh, yaitu melalui jalur timur melewati Kota Tasik, Ciamis, Kota Banjar, Pangandaran, Parigi lalu Cijulang. Jalur ini memiliki jarak kurang lebih 170 km. Jalur kedua adalah jalur selatan melewati Kota Tasik, Cipatujah, Cikalong, Cimanuk lalu Cijulang, dengan jarak kurang lebih 60 km.

Meskipun lebih pendek rute jalur selatan tidak disarankan bagi Anda yang ingin cepat sampai ke Green Canyon. Aktivitas hilir mudik truk pengangkut pasir besi di jalur tersebut mengakibatkan jalur selatan rusak parah dan membuat perjalanan lebih lama.

Tiket Masuk?

Siapkan uang tunai yang cukup ketika Anda berkunjung ke Green Canyon, karena di obyek wisata ini tidak ada ATM. Perahu adalah satu-satunya transportasi dari dermaga menuju Green Canyon, Anda bisa menyewa perahu Rp 125.000 maksimal untuk enam orang. Jika Anda ingin berenang maka Anda dikenakan biaya tambahan. Sebaiknya ketika ke sini Anda membawa rombongan agar bisa berpatungan dan biaya sewa perahu bisa lebih ringan.

Aktivitas?

Anda akan tercengang dan berteriak sambil berdiri menatap keindahan alam ini, kemudian ambil kamera Anda untuk mengabadikan setiap sudut keindahan Green Canyon. Terakhir berenanglah di bawah stalaktit merasakan sejuknya air yang menusuk kulit Anda.

Akomodasi?

Tak perlu bingung jika Anda lapar setelah puas berenang dan menikmati keindahan Green Canyon. Sejumlah warung makan tersedia berdekatan dengan lokasi parkir. Selain itu Anda juga bisa mencari oleh-oleh seperti kaus di lokasi yang sama. Untuk penginapan Anda bisa menempuh perjalan kurang lebih satu jam menuju Pangandaran. Di sana penginapan lebih banyak dengan harga yang bervariasi. Tapi, jika Anda sudah sangat lelah, jangan ragu untuk menginap di kawasan Panti Batu Karas, kurang lebih 15 menit dari Green Canyon.

Waktu Berkunjung?

Jika Anda tidak ingin mengantre jangan datang di akhir pekan, karena pada akhir pekan jumlah pengunjung cukup banyak. Namun, Jika memang waktu Anda berlibur hanya ada di akhir pekan disarankan untuk datang lebih pagi. Green Canyon buka dari pukul 07.30 hingga 16.00 WIB. Jangan datang pada saat musim hujan. Karena besar kemungkinan Green Canyon ditutup akibat debit air yang meningkat. Waktu terbaik adalah pada saat musim kemarau, karena air sungai akan berwarna hijau jernih dan lebih tenang.

Barang yang perlu dibawa?

Sebaiknya siapkan baju ganti jika Anda berencana untuk berenang di Green Canyon. Jangan lupa membawa kamera tahan air untuk mengabadikan momen saat Anda berenang. Jangan khawatir jika tidak membawa pelampung atau life jacket, karena tukang perahu telah menyediakan life jacket bagi Anda.
