If it's too crowded, your driver may guide you to scenic alternatives like Bukit Kingkong, Love Hill, or Penanjakan 2, which offer equally stunning views of Mount Bromo and Semeru.
The Sea of Sand (Pasir Berbisik) – Cruise across Bromo’s vast volcanic desert in a Jeep Hardtop. The Sea of Sand offers a surreal, cinematic terrain perfect for adventure shots and dramatic scenery.
Poten Temple (Sightseeing Only) – Located in the middle of the Sea of Sand, Poten Temple is a sacred Hindu site admired from afar. It adds cultural depth to your journey and reflects the spiritual heritage of the Tenggerese community.

What to bring?

We recommend bringing the following items to ensure a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable tour experience. Please adjust your packing list based on the destination, weather conditions, and planned activities.

Warm Jacket & Gloves – Temperatures before sunrise can drop below 10°C. Layer up to stay comfortable.
Dust Mask or Scarf – Especially important during dry season (May–November) to protect your breathing from volcanic dust.
Sturdy Shoes – Ideal for trekking to the crater rim and walking on sandy terrain. Avoid sandals or slippery soles.
Camera or Smartphone – Capture stunning sunrise views and dramatic volcanic landscapes.
Headlamp or Flashlight – Useful for early morning navigation before sunrise, especially during the crater hike.
Snacks & Water – Stay energized and hydrated throughout the tour. No shops are available during the route.
Cash for Snacks, Beverages & Entrance Fees – Bring enough cash for Bromo National Park entry and to purchase hot drinks or light snacks from local vendors near Penanjakan and the crater area. Digital payments may not be available.

Daily Availability: This tour operates every day with a minimum booking of 1 person—ideal for solo travelers or small groups.
Advance Booking Required: Reservations must be completed at least 1 day before departure to ensure availability.
Hotel Pickup & Drop-off: Enjoy convenient pickup and drop-off from your hotel in Sukapura, Ngadisari, or Cemoro Lawang.
Departure Time: The tour starts early, with Jeep pickup scheduled around 09:00–10:00 AM.
Jeep Capacity: Each Jeep Hardtop accommodates up to 5 passengers comfortably.
Dry Season Advisory: From May to November, strong winds may blow volcanic dust across the Sea of Sand and crater trail. Bring a mask to protect your breathing.
Foreign Tourist Entry Fee: International visitors must pay an additional Bromo National Park entrance fee. Select this option during booking to include it in your package.
Moderate Trekking Required: The walk to Bromo Crater involves sandy terrain. Wear sturdy shoes and be cautious near the rim.
Respect Local Culture: Poten Temple is a sacred site passed during the tour. Please observe respectfully—no climbing or loud behavior.

Additional Ticket Fee

Some attractions on this tour charge different admission fees for Domestic and International Tourists. These fees are not included in the tour price. Additional admission fees apply to visitors who do not hold a valid Indonesian Identity Card (KTP). Please see the details below.

International ticket: Rp260.000
Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.

High Season Period

Bookings made during the High Season periods listed below are subject to an additional surcharge of 50%. This surcharge will be applied to the published tour price and is required for all bookings that fall within the specified High Season dates.

I joined the Bromo Day Trip with Jeep rental from Sukapura, Ngadisari, and Cemoro Lawang pickup, and it was amazing! The jeep was reliable, the driver friendly, and the sunrise view unforgettable. Everything ran smoothly, though a bit crowded at the peak. Overall, great value and a memorable adventure, worth recommending.

This jeep rental made for a romantic day trip. The Bromo Landscape panorama was breathtaking, and the private ride gave us time to enjoy the scenery together. The driver was professional and kind. Sadly, we didn’t encounter turtles as we had hoped, but the beauty of the landscape more than made up for it.
