Day 1: Tarakan – Derawan Island

12:00 – 13:00 – Pickup in Tarakan Meet at Tengkayu 1 Port, Sebengkok – Tarakan, where our team will welcome participants and assist with check‑in. This is the starting point of your adventure, ensuring smooth coordination and hassle‑free logistics before boarding the boat.
13:00 – Speedboat to Derawan Island Embark on a scenic speedboat ride across the turquoise waters of the Celebes Sea. The journey takes about an hour, offering views of small fishing villages and open ocean before arriving at Derawan Island. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy free time to settle in or explore the surroundings.
14:00 – Lunch at Hotel Recharge with a delicious local meal served at the hotel. Taste authentic Kalimantan flavors while relaxing after your journey, preparing for the afternoon’s activities.
16:00 – Derawan Icon & Pinus Beach Sunset Visit the famous Derawan landmark for photos, then continue to Pinus Beach, a serene spot lined with pine trees. Capture breathtaking sunset views as the sky turns golden, making this one of the most memorable moments of the day.
18:00 – Return to Hotel Head back to your hotel for free time. You can rest, freshen up, or simply enjoy the island’s laid‑back atmosphere.
19:00 – Dinner & Tour Briefing Gather with fellow travelers for dinner and enjoy a warm introduction to the group. Afterward, receive a detailed briefing about the next day’s island‑hopping adventure.
20:00 – Evening Free Time Relax under the starry sky, stroll along the beach, or enjoy the calm island night before resting for tomorrow’s journey.

Day 2: Derawan – Maratua – Kakaban – Sangalaki – Gusung Sanggalau

07:00 – Breakfast at Hotel Start the day with a hearty breakfast to fuel your island‑hopping adventure.
08:00 – Maratua Island Exploration Cruise to Maratua Island, known for its dolphin sightings and luxury resorts. Explore the turquoise lagoon, take photos of the stunning scenery, and soak in the tropical charm of this remote paradise.
10:00 – Haji Mangku (Halo Tabung) Cave Dive into adventure at this natural sinkhole surrounded by limestone cliffs. Swim in crystal‑clear waters or try cliff jumping for an adrenaline rush. It’s one of Maratua’s most unique attractions.
11:00 – Kehe Daeng Lagoon Discover a hidden lagoon accessible through a narrow cave passage. Surrounded by dramatic limestone walls, this secret spot feels like stepping into another world.
12:00 – Snorkeling at Palung Kakaban Explore Kakaban’s coral walls teeming with colorful fish and marine life. This snorkeling site is a paradise for underwater enthusiasts, offering vibrant reefs and clear visibility.
13:00 – Lunch Box Break Enjoy a simple lunch on the boat or beach, recharging while surrounded by the beauty of the archipelago.
14:00 – Turtle Conservation Center (Sangalaki) Visit the turtle hatchery on Sangalaki Island and learn about conservation efforts to protect endangered sea turtles. Witness hatchlings and understand the importance of preserving marine ecosystems.
15:00 – Snorkeling at Manta Point Experience one of Derawan’s highlights: swimming with majestic manta rays. If conditions allow, you’ll see these graceful creatures gliding effortlessly through the water.
16:00 – Gusung Sanggalau Sandbar Walk barefoot on the shifting sands of Gusung Sanggalau, a sandbar that appears and disappears with the tides. Capture panoramic photos of the turquoise sea and enjoy the surreal beauty of this natural wonder.
17:00 – Return to Hotel After a full day of exploration, head back to the hotel to relax and unwind.
19:00 – Dinner at Hotel Share stories of the day’s adventures over dinner with the group.
20:00 – Overnight Stay Rest well and prepare for the final day of your trip.

Day 3: Derawan Island – Tarakan

07:00 – Breakfast & Checkout Enjoy your last island breakfast, take in the morning views, and prepare for departure.
09:00 – Speedboat to Tarakan Board the speedboat for the return journey to Tengkayu 1 Port, Sebengkok – Tarakan. The crossing takes about an hour, giving you time to reflect on the highlights of your trip.
10:00 – Arrival in Tarakan Arrive back in Tarakan, marking the end of your 3‑day adventure. Depart with unforgettable memories of snorkeling, island hopping, and marine encounters in the Derawan Archipelago.

• Derawan Island – See the Derawan Icon, relax at Pinus Beach, and capture photos on Gusung Sanggalau Sandbar.
• Maratua Island – Enjoy Maratua Paradise Resort views and swim in the turquoise sinkhole of Haji Mangku (Halo Tabung) Cave.
• Kakaban Island – Swim with stingless jellyfish in Kakaban Lake, snorkel at Kakaban Wall, and explore Kehe Daeng Lagoon.
• Sangalaki Island – Visit the Turtle Conservation Center and snorkel with manta rays at Manta Point.

• Tour Schedule – This is a sharing group trip available every Friday, perfect for solo travelers or small groups who want to join others.
• Group Sharing Basis – All transfers, guides, and activities are conducted on a shared basis. You’ll travel together with fellow participants, making the trip more affordable and social.
• Booking Deadline – Reservations must be completed at least 7 days before the departure date to secure your spot.
• Minimum Participants – Operates on a group sharing basis, with a minimum of 2 persons required.
• Itinerary Flexibility – The itinerary may change depending on weather, sea conditions, or local circumstances to ensure safety and comfort.
• Accommodation Policy – Hotel rooms are based on twin sharing (1 room for 2 persons). For odd numbers of travelers, an extra bed will be arranged.
• Meals & Inclusions – Daily breakfast, selected lunches, and dinners are included. Some meals are at your own expense.
• International Tourist Fee – Prices listed are for local visitors. International tourists must add the additional admission fee at the booking cart page.
• Activities – Snorkeling, island hopping, cave swimming, turtle conservation visit, and manta ray encounters (subject to conditions).
• Conservation Rules – Follow local guidelines at Kakaban Lake (no sunscreen in water), turtle hatchery, and manta point to protect the ecosystem.

• International ticket: Rp240.000
• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
