What is this service?
This is a private point-to-point transfer service between Malang and Tosari–Wonokitri (Mount Bromo) with a stop at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall in Pronojiwo, Lumajang. The service is available in both directions using a private vehicle with a professional driver.
Is this a private transfer?
Yes. The vehicle is reserved exclusively for your group and will not be shared with other travelers.
Can I travel from Tosari–Wonokitri to Malang?
Yes. This service operates in both directions, from Malang to Tosari–Wonokitri and from Tosari–Wonokitri to Malang, with a stop at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
Where can the transfer start and end?
Pickup and drop-off are available at Abdul Rachman Saleh Airport, Malang Train Station, hotels, homestays, guesthouses, or other agreed locations in Malang and the Tosari–Wonokitri (Mount Bromo) area.
Is hotel pickup and drop-off included?
Yes. Door-to-door pickup and drop-off are included within our designated service area.
Can we visit Tumpak Sewu Waterfall during the transfer?
Yes. This transfer is specifically designed to include an independent stop at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall before continuing to your final destination.
Does the package include entrance tickets or a local guide?
No. Entrance tickets, local trekking guides, parking fees, and other personal expenses at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall are not included unless specifically stated in the package inclusions.
Can we spend several hours at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall?
Yes. You may spend time exploring the waterfall before continuing your journey. Please inform us of your preferred visit duration when booking so we can plan the schedule accordingly.
Does the driver wait while we explore Tumpak Sewu?
Yes. The driver will wait during your visit within the agreed itinerary before continuing the transfer.
How difficult is the trek at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall?
The trek to the base of the waterfall is moderately challenging, with steep, uneven, and sometimes slippery paths. Suitable footwear and good physical condition are recommended.
What should I prepare for visiting Tumpak Sewu?
We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing and trekking shoes or sandals. Bringing a waterproof bag, spare clothes, towel, drinking water, and personal medication is also advisable.
Can elderly guests join this trip?
Yes. The private transfer is suitable for elderly guests. However, the trek to the waterfall may not be suitable for those with limited mobility or difficulty walking on steep terrain.
Can children join this trip?
Yes. Families with children are welcome. Parents should closely supervise children while visiting the waterfall area.
Can I bring luggage?
Yes. Standard luggage and backpacks are welcome within the selected vehicle's luggage capacity.
Can foreign tourists use this service?
Yes. Our private transfer is available for both domestic and international travelers.
Can we request additional stops during the journey?
Yes. Since this is a private transfer, you may request reasonable stops for meals, coffee, restrooms, convenience stores, fuel stations, or scenic photo opportunities. Extended waiting times or significant detours may incur additional charges.
Will the driver assist with luggage?
Yes. The driver will gladly assist with loading and unloading your luggage.
Will the driver join the trekking activity?
No. The driver remains with the vehicle while you explore Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
Is smoking allowed inside the vehicle?
No. Smoking and vaping inside the vehicle are not permitted to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for all passengers.
Can we bring food and drinks into the vehicle?
Yes. Light snacks and drinks are welcome. We kindly ask guests to help keep the vehicle clean during the journey.
Do you provide English-speaking drivers?
English-speaking drivers are available upon request for an additional charge and are subject to availability. Please request this option when making your reservation.
Do I need to prepare cash during the trip?
Yes. We recommend carrying Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) for entrance tickets, local guides, meals, drinks, parking fees, souvenirs, and other personal expenses during your stop at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
Can the transfer operate during rain?
Yes. Private transfers generally operate during normal weather conditions, including light rain. However, access to the waterfall may be restricted if heavy rain or safety concerns arise.
What happens if my train or flight is delayed?
Please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to adjust your pickup time, subject to driver availability and operational conditions.
When will I receive the driver's contact details?
Your driver's name and contact information will be provided no later than 1 day before your scheduled departure.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 1 day before departure to ensure vehicle availability and allow sufficient time to arrange your transfer smoothly.
