Your adventure begins with a prompt 07:00 pickup from any location in Surabaya—hotel, airport, train station, or public meeting point. Our friendly driver and guide will greet you and ensure you're comfortable before we begin the scenic journey south toward Lumajang Regency.

07:00–12:00 – Scenic Drive Along Mount Semeru’s Slopes
Enjoy a 4–5 hour drive through East Java’s diverse landscapes. As we travel along the foothills of Mount Semeru—the highest volcano in Java—you’ll pass lush rice fields, traditional villages, and misty highland forests. This is a great time to relax, take in the views, or ask your guide about the region’s culture and geology.

12:00–12:15 – Walk to Tumpak Sewu Viewpoint
Upon arrival at the main entrance, we’ll take a short 15-minute walk down a well-maintained staircase to reach the upper viewpoint. From here, you’ll witness the breathtaking panorama of Tumpak Sewu, where dozens of waterfalls cascade in a perfect semicircle into a deep green canyon.

12:15–13:15 – Enjoy the View & Take Photos
Spend time soaking in the majestic scenery. This is your chance to capture stunning photos of one of Indonesia’s most photogenic waterfalls. The mist, the roar, and the sheer scale of Tumpak Sewu make it a must-see for nature lovers and photographers alike.

13:15–15:00 – Optional Addon: Trek to the Base & Visit Goa Tetes For those seeking a deeper adventure, you can request a guided trek down to the base of Tumpak Sewu. This 1 hour 45 minute journey includes bamboo ladders, rocky paths, and river crossings. Along the way, you’ll pass Goa Tetes—a mystical cave-like waterfall with mineral-rich walls. At the base, you’ll stand in awe beneath the towering curtain of Tumpak Sewu. This activity is optional and available upon request.

15:00–15:30 – Return to Parking Area
After the trek, we’ll ascend back to the parking area via the same route. Take your time and enjoy the final glimpses of the canyon and surrounding jungle as we wrap up the adventure.

15:30–20:30 – Transfer Back to Surabaya
Relax in our comfortable vehicle as we drive back to Surabaya. Expect to arrive by evening, where we’ll drop you off at your hotel, airport, or train station. A perfect end to a day filled with nature, adventure, and unforgettable memories.

• Quick-dry clothes – You may get wet from waterfall mist or river crossings.
• Waterproof bag or dry sack – Protect your phone, camera, and valuables.
• Camera or smartphone – Capture stunning views from the top and base of the waterfall.
• Towel & change of clothes – Useful after trekking and river splashes.
• Snacks & bottled water – Stay energized during the 1.75-hour trek.
• Sun protection – Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for the drive and open areas.
• Cash – For local snacks, tips and other personal expenses

• Private Tour Experience This is a fully private tour available daily, with flexible pickup and drop-off in Surabaya—including hotels, airports, train stations, or public meeting points.
• Minimum Booking Requirement A minimum of 2 persons is required to confirm this tour. Solo travelers may inquire for custom arrangements.
• Booking Deadline Reservations must be completed at least 1 day before departure to ensure guide and transport availability.
• Confirmation Details You’ll receive the name and phone number of your assigned tour officer no later than 1 day before the tour.
• Tour Duration This is a full-day experience, approximately 14 hours, including travel, sightseeing, and optional trekking.
• Optional Addon: Trekking to the Base of Tumpak Sewu and Goa Tetes waterfall is optional and available with extra cost. It involves river crossings, rope-assisted paths, and jungle terrain.
• Physical Requirements The trek includes stair descent, cliff paths, and slippery rocks. It is not suitable for elderly guests or those with physical disabilities.
• Weather & Trail Conditions Best enjoyed during the dry season. Rain may affect trail safety and visibility. Itinerary may adjust based on weather, traffic, and pickup location.
• Entrance Fees: Prices do not include entrance fees for international tourists. You can prepay during booking or pay on-site in cash.

• International ticket: Rp100.000
• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
