4-Day Lombok Tour: Sasak Culture & Gili Islands Escape

Day 1 – Arrival & Lombok City Sightseeing

• 08:00 – Arrival at Lombok International Airport. Meet and greet with our local guide, followed by a short briefing and introduction to the tour.
• 09:00 – Begin your Lombok city sightseeing tour with a visit to Pura Lingsar, a sacred Hindu temple where Balinese and Sasak people come together for worship. Learn about its unique dual-faith architecture and spiritual significance
• 11:00 – Continue to Narmada Park, a royal garden built by King Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Karangasem in the 18th century. Stroll through its lush grounds, admire the temple replicas, and try the rejuvenating spring water believed to promote youthfulness.
• 13:00 – Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (optional, based on your preference).
• 14:30 – Drive through Mataram city for a brief orientation and local insight.
• 15:30 – Transfer to your hotel for check-in and refreshment.
• 16:00 onwards – Free time to relax, explore nearby areas, or enjoy hotel amenities. Overnight stay in Lombok.

Day 2 – Sasak Culture & Southern Beaches

• 08:00 – Depart from hotel after breakfast.
• 09:00 – Visit Banyumulek Village, a traditional pottery center where artisans craft Lombok ceramics using age-old techniques. Watch live demonstrations and browse unique handmade pieces.
• 10:30 – Continue to Sukarara Village, famous for its vibrant Sasak weaving. Learn about the intricate patterns and try weaving with guidance from local women.
• 12:00 – Explore Sade and Rambitan Villages, home to the indigenous Sasak tribe. Walk through traditional thatched houses, interact with locals, and discover their customs, architecture, and daily routines.
• 13:30 – Lunch served at a beachfront restaurant near Kuta Beach, followed by leisure time to enjoy the waves and scenery.
• 15:00 – Visit Tanjung Aan Beach, known for its pepper-like sand and turquoise waters. Relax, take photos, or enjoy a short walk along the coast.
• 16:30 – Return to hotel. Free time to unwind and overnight stay in Lombok.

Day 3 – Gili Islands Exploration & Sunset at Malimbu

• 08:00 – Depart from hotel after breakfast.
• 09:00 – Arrive at Bangsal Port and board your private boat charter to explore the famous Gili Islands.
• 10:00 – First stop: Gili Air, the smallest of the three islands. Enjoy snorkeling in clear waters, relax on the beach, and admire vibrant coral reefs.
• 11:30 – Continue to Gili Meno, known for its tranquil atmosphere, bird park, saltwater lake, and excellent snorkeling spots.
• 13:00 – Head to Gili Trawangan, the largest and liveliest island. Ride a traditional Cidomo (horse cart), snorkel, or relax at beachfront cafés.
• 15:30 – Return to Lombok and drive to Malimbu Hill, a scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking sunset views over the ocean and Gili Islands.
• 17:30 – Transfer back to hotel. Free time and overnight stay in Lombok.

Day 4 – Souvenir Shopping & Departure

• 08:00 – Breakfast at hotel and check-out.
• 09:00 – Visit a local shopping center to browse for Lombok souvenirs, handmade crafts, textiles, and accessories.
• 11:00 – Transfer to Lombok International Airport for your departure. Leave Lombok with unforgettable memories, cultural insights, and tropical experiences.

• Kuta Beach & Tanjung Aan Beach – Two of Lombok’s most stunning beaches, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying panoramic coastal views.
• Gili Islands (Gili Air, Gili Meno & Gili Trawangan) – A tropical paradise trio known for white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and world-class snorkeling and island hopping.
• Malimbu Hill – A scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking sunset panoramas over the ocean and the Gili Islands.
• Local Shopping Center – A great stop to browse for souvenirs, handmade crafts, and local accessories to take home a piece of Lombok.

• Valid ID or passport for hotel check-in and boat transfers
• Cash in Indonesian Rupiah for small purchases, tips, and local snacks
• Comfortable walking shoes or sandals for village tours and temple visits
• Lightweight clothing suitable for tropical weather (breathable fabrics recommended)
• Swimwear for snorkeling and beach time at the Gili Islands
• Sun protection: sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or cap
• Small daypack or sling bag for daily essentials
• Camera or smartphone to capture scenic views and cultural moments
• Light rain jacket or umbrella (especially during shoulder season)

• Minimum Booking: A minimum of 2 participants is required to confirm this tour.
• Booking Deadline: Reservations must be completed at least 7 days before the departure date to ensure availability and smooth coordination.
• Accommodation: Hotel rooms are based on twin-sharing (1 room for 2 guests). If the group has an odd number of participants, an extra bed will be added to one of the rooms.
• Guide Language: Tours are conducted in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Fitness Level: Moderate walking and snorkeling activities are involved; suitable for most travelers.
• Weather: Lombok has tropical weather year-round. Light clothing, sun protection, and swimwear are recommended.
• Temple Visits: Modest attire is required for religious sites (sarong or shawl recommended).
• Snorkeling Gear: Provided on-site, but you may bring your own for comfort.
• Itinerary Flexibility: The itinerary may change depending on local conditions, weather, or operational factors to ensure safety and comfort.
