Description
Mt. Bromo is one of the most visited destination in East Java, this attraction is a part of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (BTSNP) which extends in four regencies in East Java Province, are Probolinggo, Malang, Pasuruan and Lumajang.
Visitors can explore the vast Sea of Sand and hike up the crater of Mount Bromo itself. The short trek across the volcanic plain leads to a staircase that climbs to the rim, where travelers can witness plumes of smoke rising from the active volcano. Nearby, the serene Pura Luhur Poten temple stands as a spiritual landmark for the local Tenggerese people, adding cultural depth to the breathtaking scenery.
The experience doesn’t end with the crater of Bromo, by riding 4WD Jeep, traveler can go to Penanjakan view point, the perfect place to enjoy sunrise. Additionally you can also see the stunning landscape of the national park, Mount Batok and Mount Semeru and Sea of sand from this view point.

Bromo volcano sunrise gave me cool vibes, but the crowd kinda killed the mood. Jeep ride was rough, and the trip from Surabaya felt long. Still, the view was epic enough to make it worth trying once.
Super worth it! The pick-up from Surabaya was smooth, driver friendly, and the sunrise at Bromo… wow, totally magical. Yeah, it’s a bit crowded and chilly up there, but the view makes you forget everything. Would give 5 stars if the jeep ride was less bumpy, but overall solid 4.5/5. Totally recommend!
From start to finish, this tour was flawless. The pickup was punctual, the jeep ride thrilling, and the sunrise view simply spectacular. Watching the sun rise over Mount Bromo while cuddled up together was the highlight of our trip. Exploring the crater and taking photos side by side gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. The organization was smooth, the guide knowledgeable, and the pace just right. For couples seeking both romance and adventure, this is a must‑do experience, easily deserving 5 stars.
This tour was well-organized and comfortable. The early morning drive from Surabaya was smooth, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the sunrise without feeling rushed. The viewpoint offered breathtaking scenery, and the whole day felt stress-free and rewarding.
Sunrise at Bromo was magical, totally worth the early wake-up. The jeep ride was fun and the guide made everything simple. Only small minus, it gets super crowded at the viewpoint. Still, 4.5 stars for the whole experience!
