Madakaripura Waterfall & Bromo Sunset Tour from Surabaya

08:00 AM – Hotel or Airport Pickup in Surabaya

Our crew will pick you up from your hotel or any location within Surabaya city. After a short introduction and tour briefing, we’ll begin the scenic 3-hour drive to Madakaripura Waterfall, passing lush countryside and local villages.

11:00 AM – Arrive at Madakaripura Waterfall

Begin a 20-minute walk along a serene river trail surrounded by towering cliffs. As you approach the waterfall, expect a magical mist from the powerful cascade. Raincoats and umbrellas are available from local vendors. Enjoy the spiritual ambiance and take stunning photos of Java’s tallest waterfall.

01:00 PM – Optional Lunch at a Local Restaurant

After the waterfall trek, you may choose to enjoy a delicious Indonesian lunch at a nearby local restaurant. Vegetarian options are available upon request, or feel free to bring your own snacks if preferred.

02:00 PM – Depart for Mount Bromo

Continue to Cemoro Lawang village, the gateway to Mount Bromo. The drive takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival, we’ll switch to a 4WD Hardtop vehicle and begin our adventure across the Sea of Sands.

03:30 PM – Explore Bromo Crater & Poten Temple

Trek to the crater rim of Mount Bromo, visit the sacred Poten temple, and stop for photos in the dramatic volcanic desert. This part of the tour offers close-up views of Bromo’s unique landscape and cultural significance.

05:30 PM – Sunset at Penanjakan Viewpoint

Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from Penanjakan viewpoint, where you’ll witness panoramic views of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Capture golden hour over Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Semeru—an unforgettable moment for every traveler.

07:00 PM – Rest & Optional Dinner at Cemoro Lawang

Return to Cemoro Lawang village for a short rest. You may choose to enjoy a warm local dinner before heading back to Surabaya.

08:00 PM – Transfer Back to Surabaya

Enjoy a comfortable 3-hour drive back to Surabaya. Our crew will drop you off at your hotel or preferred location.

11:00 PM – Arrive in Surabaya

We’ll conclude the tour around 11:00 PM, leaving you with unforgettable memories of East Java’s natural beauty and cultural charm.

• Warm jacket or layers – Temperatures drop significantly at Bromo’s sunset viewpoint.

• Cash (IDR) – For local rentals, meals, or souvenirs—some areas may not accept cards.
• Small backpack – To carry your items comfortably throughout the tour.

• Fitness Level: Moderate trekking required at Madakaripura and Bromo crater. Not recommended for guests with mobility issues.
• Weather Conditions: Rain is common near the waterfall; sunset visibility may vary due to fog or clouds.
• Altitude & Temperature: Bromo can be cold (10–15°C) in the late afternoon—bring a warm jacket.
• Cash Essentials: Bring small cash (IDR) for rentals, meals, or local tips. Some areas may not accept cards.
• International Visitors: Foreign tourists are subject to an additional entrance fee at Bromo and Madakaripura.
• Photography: Bring a camera or smartphone—both locations offer stunning photo opportunities.

• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
