07:00 – Pickup in Yogyakarta
We’ll pick you up from the airport, hotel, or any designated location in Yogyakarta. After a brief introduction with our crew, we’ll begin the scenic 2-hour drive to Gunung Kidul district, home to the legendary Jomblang Cave.

09:00 – Arrival at Jomblang Cave
Upon arrival, enjoy light refreshments while our team prepares all the necessary equipment for your caving adventure. Safety and comfort are our priority.

10:00 – Jomblang Cave Exploration
Accompanied by our professional and trained crew, you’ll descend into the depths of Jomblang Cave using a secure rope system. Once at the bottom, begin your exploration and witness the famous “Light from Heaven” – a stunning natural phenomenon that makes this cave truly magical. The caving experience lasts approximately 2 hours.

12:00 – Lunch Break
After completing the cave exploration, take a well-deserved break and enjoy a delicious lunch in the serene surroundings.

13:00 – Return to Yogyakarta
We’ll depart from Jomblang Cave and head back to Yogyakarta. The return journey takes around 2 hours.

15:00 – End of Tour
Arrive back in Yogyakarta. Your unforgettable Jomblang Cave tour concludes here. Thank you for joining us!

• Comfortable outdoor clothing – Quick-dry shirts and pants are ideal.
• Change of clothes – You may get muddy during the cave descent.
• Sturdy shoes or trekking sandals – Preferably with good grip; rubber boots are provided but optional.
• Small backpack or daypack – To carry your essentials.
• Camera or smartphone – To capture the “Light from Heaven” moment (waterproof case recommended).
• Personal medication – If needed, especially for motion sickness or allergies.

• This tour is available every day, with a minimum booking of 2 persons.
• The tour can be started and finished at any location in Yogyakarta city, including your hotel, airport, train station, or other public places.
• Booking must be completed at least 1 day prior to the tour departure date.
• The itinerary may change depending on conditions during the tour, including adjustments to the pickup time.
• After your booking is confirmed, we will send you the name of the assigned tour officer and their contact number, no later than 1 day before departure.
• Best Season to Visit: The ideal time to explore Jomblang Cave is during the dry season, from April to October, when weather conditions are more stable and the “Light from Heaven” effect is most visible. Tours are still available year-round, but rainy days may affect visibility and terrain.
