Mount Bromo Sunset Tour from Surabaya

• 11:00 AM – Hotel Pickup in Surabaya Our crew will pick you up from your hotel or any location within Surabaya city. After a brief introduction and tour overview, we’ll begin the scenic 3-hour drive to Cemoro Lawang village, the gateway to Mount Bromo. Travel through lush landscapes and local highland communities.
• 2:00 PM – Arrive at Cemoro Lawang & Switch to 4WD Upon arrival, enjoy a short rest before transferring to a 4WD Hardtop vehicle. We’ll drive across the Sea of Sands to reach Mount Bromo. Begin your trek to the crater rim, explore the sacred Poten temple, and stop for photos in the dramatic volcanic desert.
• 5:30 PM – Sunset at Penanjakan Viewpoint Witness the breathtaking sunset over Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park from Penanjakan viewpoint. Capture panoramic views of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Semeru as the sky transforms into golden hues—an unforgettable moment for every traveler.
• 7:00 PM – Return to Cemoro Lawang & Dinner Head back to Cemoro Lawang village for a well-deserved rest and a delicious local dinner. Recharge before the journey back to Surabaya.
• 8:00 PM – Transfer Back to Surabaya Enjoy a comfortable 3-hour drive back to Surabaya. Our crew will drop you off at your hotel or preferred location by approximately 11:00 PM, concluding your epic East Java volcano adventure.

• 11:00 PM – Arrive Back in Surabaya We’ll reach Surabaya around 11:00 PM, concluding your full-day Bromo Sunset adventure. Expect to be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location, with unforgettable memories of East Java’s volcanic landscapes and golden hour views.

• Penanjakan View Point: The best place to enjoy panoramic views of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, Mount Semeru, and the vast Sea of Sand, especially stunning at sunset.
• Bromo Crater: Trek across the volcanic plain and climb the staircase to the crater rim, where plumes of smoke rise from the active volcano.
• Sea of Sand: Cross the surreal desert‑like expanse surrounding Mount Bromo, a unique volcanic landscape unlike anywhere else in Indonesia.
• Pura Luhur Poten Temple: Visit this sacred Tenggerese Hindu temple located at the foot of Mount Bromo, a spiritual landmark that adds cultural depth to the volcanic scenery.
• Madakaripura Waterfall (Optional): Add a visit to East Java’s tallest waterfall for an unforgettable natural experience. Note: If included, departure from Surabaya must be 2 hours earlier and an additional cost applies.

• Good shoe (trekking shoe is better)
• Masker, strongly recommended to bring it
• Camera, to capture your moments
• A Hat, during the day light, Mt. Bromo area will be quite hot
• Cash, not many local stall can accepts debit or credit card or electronic payment.

•  Daily Availability: This tour is available every day with convenient pick‑up and drop‑off in Surabaya (hotel, airport, or train station).Minimum Participants: A minimum of 2 persons is required to confirm the tour.
• Booking Deadline: Reservations must be completed at the latest 1 day prior to the date of departure.
• Flexible Itinerary: The itinerary may change depending on pick‑up location, pick‑up time, traffic conditions, and other local situations during the tour.
• Foreign Tourist Entrance Fee: If you are an international traveler, please include the additional entrance ticket fee for foreign tourists in your booking.
• Optional Add‑On – Madakaripura Waterfall: You can include a visit to Madakaripura Waterfall before Mount Bromo with an additional cost. This option is available in Optional Extra Services. If added, the trip must start 2 hours earlier than the standard departure time.
• Recommended Season: Best enjoyed during the dry season (May–October) for clearer skies and smoother travel.
• Weather Advisory: Evenings at Bromo are cool (10–15°C). Bring a jacket, comfortable shoes, and sun protection for daytime.

• International ticket: Rp255.000
• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
