Day 1 – Kalibaru/Jember to Sukamade Beach via Green Bay (Optional)

09:00 AM – Begin your East Java eco-adventure with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or meeting point in Kalibaru or Jember city. Meet our crew for a short tour briefing before heading toward Meru Betiri National Park, located on the border of Jember and Banyuwangi. Enjoy a scenic 5-hour drive through tropical rainforest and river crossings.
12:00 PM – If you’ve added the optional Green Bay Beach (Teluk Hijau) tour, we’ll stop before reaching Sukamade. Trek 40 minutes down a forested path to discover a hidden white-sand beach surrounded by cliffs—an untouched paradise perfect for photos and relaxation.
02:00 PM – Continue your journey by 4WD vehicle to Sukamade Beach, crossing several rivers before arriving at the Sukamade Guest House, a simple accommodation provided by the national park for visitors and rangers.
03:30 PM – Check-in and enjoy free time. Visit the nearby turtle conservation center to learn about local efforts to protect endangered sea turtles.
07:00 PM – Dinner served at the guesthouse cafeteria.
08:00 PM – Join a guided night patrol to witness nesting turtles. A park ranger will provide instructions and accompany you as you search for turtles laying eggs on the beach. The activity ends around midnight, followed by rest at the guesthouse.

Day 2 – Baby Turtle Release & Transfer to Banyuwangi

06:00 AM – Return to Sukamade Beach with baby turtles in hand and participate in a turtle release ceremony, helping hatchlings reach the ocean safely. A memorable moment for wildlife lovers and photographers.
07:00 AM – Return to the guesthouse for breakfast and free time.
08:00 AM – Depart for Banyuwangi, a 5-hour scenic drive through East Java’s countryside.
02:00 PM – Check-in at your hotel in Banyuwangi and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Note: If you’ve added the optional Red Island Beach (Pantai Pulau Merah) tour, we’ll visit this sunset-friendly surf spot before reaching Banyuwangi in the late afternoon.

Day 3 – Midnight Ijen Crater Blue Fire Trek

12:00 AM – Begin your Ijen Crater blue fire tour with a midnight departure from your hotel. Drive 2 hours to Paltuding, the starting point for the trek.
02:30 AM – Start your trek to Ijen Crater, a 1.5–2 hour hike depending on your stamina. Along the way, meet traditional sulfur miners beginning their daily work—an eye-opening cultural experience.
04:30 AM – Descend into the crater to witness the blue fire phenomenon, a rare natural wonder visible only before sunrise. Watch miners extract sulfur and carry it in bamboo baskets as the flames fade with daylight.
05:30 AM – Ascend back to the crater rim and return to Paltuding.
07:00 AM – Rest and enjoy breakfast at Paltuding.
08:00 AM – Drive back to Banyuwangi (approx. 2 hours). Choose your drop-off location: hotel, Ketapang Ferry Harbor, train station, or other public areas.
10:00 AM – End of tour.

• Weather & Seasonal Tips The rainy season (December–May) may affect travel conditions—bring a raincoat or umbrella. Temperatures at Mt. Ijen range from 8–15°C, with the coldest months typically between June and October.
• Accommodation Details At Sukamade, guesthouse rooms are shared by 3 guests. Facilities are basic, with limited amenities and no mobile signal—ideal for a true nature escape. In Banyuwangi, hotel rooms are based on double occupancy; if your group has an odd number, an extra bed will be added to one room.
• Turtle Conservation Donation A group donation is required to support local turtle conservation efforts. The minimum amount is listed in the booking details and will be collected on-site.
• Meals & Dining Some meals are not included in the package. You may ask your driver or guide to stop at local restaurants—meals are at your own expense.
