This 3‑day, 2‑night adventure brings you to three of East Java’s most spectacular destinations: the volcanic landscapes of Mount Bromo, the mystical Madakaripura Waterfall, and the coastal beauty of Tanjung Papuma Beach. Guests will witness sunrise over Bromo’s crater, trek through lush waterfalls, and relax on pristine beaches—all in one seamless journey designed for both adventure and relaxation.

Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo is one of Indonesia’s most iconic volcanoes, located within Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The highlight of visiting Bromo is the sunrise from Penanjakan View Point, where the sky glows over Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru. Guests will cross the Sea of Sand by Jeep, climb to the crater rim, and explore the savanna hills known as Teletubbies Hill. The sacred Poten Temple, standing in the middle of the desert, adds cultural depth to this unforgettable experience.

Madakaripura Waterfall

Just 45 minutes from Bromo lies Madakaripura Waterfall, a natural wonder steeped in legend. It is believed to be the meditation site of Gajah Mada, the Prime Minister of the Majapahit Empire. The waterfall is surrounded by towering cliffs covered in moss, with mist and water spray creating a mystical atmosphere. A short trek through narrow paths leads to one of East Java’s tallest and most enchanting waterfalls.

Tanjung Papuma Beach

Located in Jember Regency, Tanjung Papuma Beach offers a striking contrast to the volcanic landscapes of Bromo. The beach is known for its white sand, giant rock formations, and breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. Visitors can relax by the shore, explore the rocky coastline, and enjoy freshly grilled fish prepared by local vendors. The scenic drive to Papuma passes rice fields and forested areas, adding to the charm of the journey.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure from Surabaya to Bromo

  • 20.00 – 21.00 : Meeting Point in Surabaya Guests gather at the designated meeting point. The tour leader provides a briefing about the journey, safety guidelines, and what to expect during the trip. This is also the time to meet fellow travelers and prepare for the adventure ahead.
  • 22.00 – 00.00 : Drive Surabaya – Bromo Begin the overnight journey to Mount Bromo. The drive passes through East Java’s countryside, giving guests a chance to rest while enjoying glimpses of local villages and landscapes along the way.

Day 2 – Sunrise at Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall

  • 00.00 – 02.00 : Continue Trip to Bromo The road climbs into the highlands, with cooler air and misty surroundings. This part of the journey sets the mood for the volcanic adventure awaiting at Bromo.
  • 02.00 – 03.00 : Arrival in Bromo, Coffee Break Arrive at Cemoro Lawang, gateway to Bromo. Guests enjoy a short rest with hot coffee or tea to warm up before the sunrise trek. The atmosphere is calm and chilly, perfect for preparing for the early morning hike.
  • 03.00 – 04.00 : Jeep Ride and Trekking to Penanjakan View Point Transfer by Jeep across the Sea of Sand, then a short hike to Penanjakan View Point. The anticipation builds as you reach the famous sunrise spot.
  • 04.00 – 06.00 : Sunrise at Bromo Witness the spectacular sunrise as the sky glows over Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru. The golden light reveals the dramatic volcanic landscape, creating one of the most iconic views in Indonesia.
  • 06.00 – 09.00 : Explore Bromo Crater and Sea of Sand Continue by Jeep to the base of Mount Bromo. Walk across the Sea of Sand and climb the steps to the crater rim. From here, guests can look into the smoking crater and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and savanna hills.
  • 09.00 – 10.00 : Breakfast (Included) Recharge with a hearty breakfast provided by the tour team, while sharing impressions of the sunrise and crater exploration.
  • 10.00 – 11.00 : Drive to Madakaripura Waterfall Travel through scenic mountain roads to reach Madakaripura. The drive offers views of rural villages and lush landscapes.
  • 11.00 – 13.00 : Explore Madakaripura Waterfall Trek through narrow paths surrounded by moss‑covered cliffs. The sound of rushing water grows louder as you approach the waterfall. Mist and spray create a mystical atmosphere, making this one of East Java’s most enchanting natural sites.
  • 13.00 – 14.00 : Lunch (Included) Enjoy a local meal to refuel after the trek.
  • 14.00 – 18.00 : Drive Probolinggo – Jember A long but scenic drive through East Java’s countryside, passing rice fields, small towns, and forested areas.
  • 18.00 – 19.00 : Check‑in Accommodation Arrive at the hotel in Jember, freshen up, and relax after a full day of adventure.
  • 19.00 – 21.00 : Culinary Exploration in Jember (Dinner Excluded) Guests are free to explore Jember’s local food scene. Try traditional dishes or street food at your own expense.
  • 21.00 – 00.00 : Rest Return to the hotel and rest for the next day’s beach excursion.

Day 3 – Papuma Beach and Return to Surabaya

  • 05.00 – 06.00 : Wake Up and Prepare for Papuma Beach Early morning preparation for the beach trip. Guests pack essentials and get ready for a relaxing day by the sea.
  • 06.00 – 07.00 : Breakfast (Included) Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departure.
  • 07.00 – 08.00 : Drive Jember – Papuma Beach Travel to Tanjung Papuma Beach, passing green rice fields and forested areas. The drive itself is scenic and enjoyable.
  • 08.00 – 11.00 : Enjoy Papuma Beach Relax on the white sandy beach, explore the rocky coastline, and take photos of the stunning seascape. Guests can stroll along the shore, enjoy the fresh sea breeze, and capture memorable moments.
  • 11.00 – 12.00 : Lunch with Grilled Fish (Included) + Packing Savor freshly grilled fish by the beach, a local specialty, before preparing for the return journey.
  • 12.00 – 18.00 : Return Trip Jember – Surabaya Drive back to Surabaya with time to rest along the way. The journey offers a chance to reflect on the experiences of the past three days.
  • 18.00 – End : Arrival in Surabaya and Farewell Arrive in Surabaya, marking the end of the tour. Guests say goodbye to the group and tour leader, carrying home unforgettable memories.
