Day 1: Midnight Ijen Crater Trek & Sukamade Turtle Encounter

00:00 – Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup anywhere in Banyuwangi city. Meet our friendly crew for a quick tour briefing before heading to Paltuding base camp at Mt. Ijen. The scenic drive takes approximately 2 hours—perfect time to rest before the trek.
02:00 – Arrive at Paltuding. Enjoy a short break while we handle your entrance registration.
02:30 – Start your guided trek to Ijen Crater. The 1.5–2 hour hike offers stunning views and encounters with local sulfur miners. Feel free to chat with them and learn about their unique daily routines.
04:30 – Reach the crater rim and descend into the heart of Ijen to witness the legendary blue fire phenomenon—a rare natural wonder only visible before sunrise. Watch miners extract sulfur by torchlight, creating a surreal and unforgettable scene.
05:30 – Ascend back to the crater rim and descend to Paltuding. The downhill trek is quicker and easier.
07:00 – Enjoy a well-earned breakfast at Paltuding and relax before the next leg of your journey.
08:30 – Depart for Sukamade Turtle Beach via a thrilling 4-hour drive through tropical forests, rivers, and mountain terrain—an off-road adventure into the heart of Meru Betiri National Park.
13:00 – Arrive at Sukamade. Check into the guesthouse and enjoy free time to unwind.
18:30 – Dinner at the local cafeteria.
19:30 – Join a ranger-led night tour to witness sea turtle nesting on Sukamade Beach. Learn about conservation efforts and watch as turtles lay their eggs under the stars. The activity ends around midnight, followed by rest at the guesthouse.

Day 2: Baby Turtle Release & Return to Banyuwangi

06:00 – Head to Sukamade Beach with baby turtles in hand. Participate in a heartwarming turtle release experience, sending hatchlings safely into the ocean. Don’t forget your camera—this is a moment worth capturing.
07:00 – Return to the guesthouse for breakfast and free time.
08:30 – Begin the return journey to Banyuwangi, a scenic 5-hour drive through East Java’s lush landscapes.
12:30 – Tour ends with drop-off in Banyuwangi city. Thank you for joining this unforgettable 2-day eco-adventure.

• Daily Availability & Booking Deadline This tour runs every day with a minimum of 2 participants. Booking must be completed at least 3 days before departure to ensure proper arrangements.
• Foreign Tourist Entrance Fee If you're an international traveler, an additional entrance fee applies for Mt. Ijen. Please select this option during booking to include it in your package.
• Weather & Seasonal Tips The rainy season (December–May) may affect travel conditions. We strongly recommend bringing a raincoat or umbrella. Mt. Ijen temperatures range from 8–15°C, with the coldest months typically between June and October.
• Accommodation Details At Sukamade, guesthouse rooms are shared by 3 guests. Facilities are basic, with limited amenities and no mobile signal—perfect for a true nature escape.
• Turtle Conservation Donation A group donation is required to support turtle conservation efforts. The minimum amount is listed in the booking details and will be collected on-site.
• Meals & Dining Some meals are excluded from the package. You can ask your driver or guide to stop at local restaurants—meals are at your own expense.
• Itinerary Flexibility The itinerary may vary depending on pickup location, traffic, and weather conditions. Your guide will adjust plans to ensure safety and comfort.
• Optional Add-On Tours
  • Green Bay Beach: If added, this will be arranged on Day 1 before arriving at Sukamade. A tour guide is recommended for this segment.
  • Red Island Beach: If included, this will be visited before returning to Banyuwangi, with arrival expected in the late afternoon.
• Wildlife Sightings Not Guaranteed – Turtle nesting is seasonal and natural; sightings depend on conditions and luck.
• Eco-Conservation Rules Apply – Flash photography and touching turtles are prohibited. Follow ranger instructions at all times.
• Physical Fitness Required – The Ijen hike involves steep terrain and sulfur exposure. A moderate level of fitness is recommended.

• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
