Day 1 – Evening Departure from Banyuwangi

19:00–20:00 – Pickup from your hotel, train station, or airport in Banyuwangi. Meet our crew and begin the scenic overnight drive toward Mount Bromo. The journey takes approximately 6–7 hours, with rest stops for refreshments and toilets.

Day 2 – Bromo Sunrise & Volcano Adventure

03:00 – Arrival & Jeep Transfer to Sunrise Point Arrive at Sukapura or Cemoro Lawang village and transfer to a 4WD jeep. Your local driver will navigate the rugged mountain trails under the stars, ascending to the famous Penanjakan Viewpoint. The crisp highland air and anticipation build as you approach the rim of the Tengger Caldera.

04:00–05:30 – Sunrise at Penanjakan Viewpoint Reach the panoramic viewpoint early to secure the best spot. As the first light breaks over the horizon, witness a surreal transformation—the sky glows in hues of orange and pink, revealing the smoking cone of Mount Bromo, the towering peak of Mount Semeru, and the vast Sea of Sand below. A photographer’s dream and a spiritual moment for many.

05:30–07:00 – Bromo Crater Trek via Sea of Sand Descend into the otherworldly Sea of Sand, a vast volcanic plain that feels like a lunar landscape. From here, begin your trek or opt for a horseback ride to the base of Mount Bromo. Climb the 250 steps to the crater rim and peer into the steaming heart of this active volcano—an unforgettable encounter with raw nature.

07:00–08:00 – Whispering Sands & Teletubbies Hill (Optional) Continue your jeep adventure to Pasir Berbisik, where the wind dances across fine volcanic sand, creating a soft whispering sound. Then head to Teletubbies Hill, a lush, rolling savanna that contrasts beautifully with the barren caldera—perfect for scenic photos and a moment of calm.

08:00–08:30 – Local Breakfast Stop Enjoy a simple but hearty local breakfast at a warung or rest area. Recharge with warm tea, fried bananas, or nasi pecel while soaking in the highland atmosphere before the return journey.

08:30–14:00 – Return Drive to Banyuwangi Begin the comfortable drive back to Banyuwangi, passing through scenic East Java landscapes. A lunch stop is included en route (own expense), giving you time to relax and reflect on the morning’s adventure.

14:00–15:00 – Drop-off in Banyuwangi Arrive back in Banyuwangi and enjoy drop-off at your hotel, train station, or airport. Tour ends with memories of a lifetime.

Optional Add-On: Madakaripura Waterfall
Extend your adventure with a visit to Madakaripura Waterfall, a hidden gem nestled in a lush canyon near Bromo. After your volcano tour, our crew will escort you to the waterfall entrance (approx. 1-hour drive). Enjoy a short trek through the forest and marvel at the towering falls cascading from steep cliffs. This add-on includes guide assistance and entrance ticket. Return to Banyuwangi in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on your pace.

• Warm jacket or layers – Temperatures at sunrise can drop below 10°C, especially at Penanjakan viewpoint.

• Headlamp or flashlight – Useful for early morning exploration before sunrise.
• Mask or scarf – Helps filter volcanic dust, especially near the crater.

• Temperature Range – Mount Bromo can be 0–10°C during dry season, and slightly warmer during rainy season. Warm clothing is essential.
• Best Season – The ideal time to visit is July to October, when skies are clearer and sunrise views are most dramatic.
• Entrance Fees – Tour price excludes additional entrance fees for international tourists. These differ from local rates and must be added during booking.
• Itinerary Flexibility – Activities may shift based on weather, traffic, or local conditions to ensure safety and comfort.
• Physical Activity – Trekking to Bromo’s crater requires moderate fitness; terrain includes sand, stairs, and volcanic dust.

• Drop-Off Flexibility – Tour ends around 16:00 on Day 2 with drop-off at any location in Banyuwangi city.

• International ticket: Rp260.000
• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
