Day 1 – Arrival & Sukamade Turtle Conservation

• 10:00 – Arrival at Banyuwangi Airport (BWX) Guests are greeted by the driver and guide. Begin the adventurous ±3.5–4 hour transfer to Sukamade, traveling through cocoa and rubber plantations, small villages, rivers, and rugged jungle tracks inside Meru Betiri National Park. The drive itself is part of the adventure, offering glimpses of East Java’s rural life and lush landscapes.
• 14:00 – Guest House Check‑In Arrive at Sukamade guest house, a simple but authentic accommodation located inside the conservation area. Facilities are basic, but the setting provides a rare chance to stay deep in nature, surrounded by forest sounds.
• 18:30–19:30 – Dinner at Guest House Enjoy a rustic meal prepared by local staff, often featuring traditional East Javanese dishes. Meals here are simple but hearty, perfect before the evening’s activity.
• 19:30–00:00 – Turtle Breeding Observation at Sukamade Beach Guided night walk to Sukamade Beach, where guests may witness sea turtles crawling ashore to lay eggs. Conservation staff explain the process of protecting eggs from predators and relocating them to hatcheries. Even if turtles are not seen, the experience of walking under the stars in a remote conservation area is unforgettable.
  • Important: Activity always concludes at 00:00, regardless of turtle sightings.
• Overnight: Sukamade guest house.

Day 2 – Turtle Release, Transfer to Banyuwangi & Baluran Safari

• 06:00–06:30 – Baby Turtle Release Early morning, join rangers to release hatchlings into the ocean. Watching tiny turtles instinctively crawl toward the waves is a moving conservation highlight and a guest favorite.
• 07:00–07:30 – Breakfast at Guest House Simple breakfast served before departure.
• 08:00–11:00 – Transfer to Banyuwangi Scenic ±3 hour drive back, retracing jungle tracks and plantation roads. Guests can rest or enjoy views of rural East Java along the way.
• 11:00–12:00 – Hotel Check‑In & Short Break Refresh and relax at the hotel before the afternoon safari.
• 12:00–13:00 – Lunch in Banyuwangi Optional stop for local dishes such as rawon or rujak soto.
• 13:00–14:00 – Transfer ±1 hour to Baluran National Park Drive north to Baluran, known as the “Africa van Java.”
• 14:00–15:30 – Bekol Savanna & Observation Tower Wide grasslands stretch out with Mount Baluran in the background. Guests can climb the observation tower for panoramic views and spot banteng, deer, monkeys, and peacocks roaming freely. The open landscape creates a safari‑like atmosphere.
• 15:30–16:30 – Bama Beach Exploration Continue deeper into the park to Bama Beach. Stroll along the sandy shore, enjoy the sea breeze, and take in the peaceful coastal scenery.
• 16:30–18:00 – Mangrove Boardwalk & Birdwatching Area + Sunset at Bama Beach Walk through mangrove forests on wooden boardwalks and observe coastal birds such as kingfishers and herons. As the sun sets, the sky glows orange and pink, reflecting off calm waters and mangroves — a serene finale to the safari.
• 18:00–19:00 – Return to Banyuwangi ±1 hour drive back to town.
• 19:30–20:30 – Dinner in Banyuwangi Try local specialties like sego tempong (spicy rice with vegetables) or pecel pitik (grilled chicken with grated coconut).
• Overnight: Hotel in Banyuwangi.

Day 3 – Midnight Ijen Crater Trek & Sunset at Muncar Harbor

• 00:00–01:30 – Transfer to Paltuding Base Camp Drive ±1.5 hours through forested mountain roads under the night sky.
• 01:30–03:30 – Trek to Crater Rim Begin the uphill trek with flashlights. The cool mountain air and starry sky make the hike atmospheric and memorable.
• 03:30–05:00 – Blue Fire Phenomenon Witness the rare natural glow of burning sulfur gases, best seen before dawn. This is one of East Java’s most famous sights.
• 05:30–06:30 – Sunrise at Crater Lake As dawn breaks, the turquoise lake is revealed, surrounded by dramatic volcanic cliffs. The sunrise paints the sky in shades of orange and pink.
• 07:00–08:30 – Descent & Rest at Base Camp Trek back down, enjoy warm drinks, and recover.
• 08:30–10:30 – Transfer to Hotel ±2 hour drive back to Banyuwangi.
• 10:30–14:30 – Free Time & Rest at Hotel Guests can sleep, relax, or enjoy hotel facilities such as the pool or spa.
• 15:00–16:00 – Transfer to Muncar Harbor ±1 hour drive to East Java’s largest fishing port.
• 16:00–18:00 – Sunset at Muncar Harbor Observe fishermen returning with their catch, rows of traditional boats (perahu), and daily harbor life. The colorful boats against the glowing sky create atmospheric photo opportunities.
• 18:30–19:30 – Dinner & Return Fresh seafood at local warungs or back in Banyuwangi.
• Overnight: Hotel in Banyuwangi.

Day 4 – Menjangan Island Snorkeling & Souvenir Shopping

• 07:00–08:00 – Breakfast at Hotel Relaxed breakfast before departure.
• 08:00–09:00 – Drive to Grand Watudodol Jetty Scenic coastal drive with views of the Bali Strait.
• 09:00–09:30 – Boat to Menjangan Island 30‑minute crossing with views of Bali’s mountains.
• 09:30–11:30 – Snorkeling & Light Trekking Snorkel among vibrant coral reefs filled with tropical fish. Clear waters make marine life easy to spot. Guests can also trek to small temples and viewpoints, adding cultural depth to the marine adventure.
• 11:30–12:00 – Return Boat Ride
• 12:00–13:00 – Hotel Rest Short rest and refresh.
• 14:00–16:00 – Souvenir & Snack Shopping Visit Osing Deles or Sun Osing for batik, bamboo crafts, and handmade souvenirs. Pick up local snacks such as bagiak (cassava cookies), selai pisang (banana jam), and kue cucur.

Day 5 – Free Time, Check‑Out & Departure

• Physical Fitness – The Ijen Crater trek is uphill and takes around 1.5–2 hours each way. A good level of fitness is recommended to enjoy the hike safely.
• Cold Temperatures at Ijen – Nighttime temperatures can drop below 10°C. Warm clothing, gloves, and a headlamp are essential for comfort during the midnight trek.
• Wildlife Encounters at Sukamade Beach – Sukamade is famous for turtle nesting, but sightings of breeding turtles are not guaranteed. Encounters depend on natural conditions and conservation efforts.
• Turtle Breeding Observation Schedule – Evening turtle breeding observations at Sukamade Beach will last until 00:00 midnight. No matter the conditions, the activity will officially end at this time.
• Sun Exposure – Baluran and Menjangan areas can be very hot during the day. Sunscreen, hats, and proper hydration are important to stay protected.
• Cash Payments – Many local warungs and souvenir shops do not accept cards. Bring cash in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) for local purchases and fees.
• Optional Add‑Ons – Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are not included by default but can be added when completing the booking form.
• Mandatory Health Certificate – Trekking at Ijen Crater requires a valid health certificate. This is mandatory and already included in the package.
• Hotel Room Occupancy – Rooms in Banyuwangi hotels are arranged for 2 guests per room. If the group has an odd number of participants, one extra bed will be added. At Sukamade guest house, rooms are more basic and may be shared by up to 3 persons per room due to limited facilities.
• Booking Requirements – Advance booking is required at least 7 days before departure, with a minimum of 2 participants (2 pax).
• International Tourist Entrance Fees – Prices do not include the additional entrance fee for international tourists. This fee is regulated by local authorities and must be paid separately.
• Mandatory Donations for Turtle Conservation – All visitors to Sukamade are required to contribute a small donation to support turtle conservation programs. This fee helps fund hatchery operations, ranger patrols, and ongoing protection efforts.
• Optional Visit to Green Bay or Red Island Beach – Guests may add an optional stop at Green Bay Beach or Red Island Beach with extra cost. Each stop will extend the total tour duration by approximately 2 hours.

• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
