Ijen crater and Baluran national park tour from Banyuwangi

00:00 We will pick up you at your hotel or any places inside Banyuwangi city, take simple introduction with our crew and short brief of the tour. Then departs to Paltuding at the foot of Mt. Ijen, it will takes around 2 hours drive depends to the traffic conditions. We strongly recommend you to use your time for rest and sleeping
02:00 We will arrive at Paltuding camp at the foot of Mt. Ijen. Take a short rest while arrange the administration entrance for you.
02:30 Start trekking to the crater of Ijen, it takes around 1,5-2 hours depend your stamina and power, during this ascent, we will meet with many traditional miners are starting they daily job. You can make a conversation with them and get to know their life.
04:30 From the crater rim, we should get down into the crater, this is the only way to see the blue fire. Then enjoy the amazing blue fire of Ijen, you can also watch traditional miners are taking sulfurs and carry it in their bamboo basket. The blue fire will also start to fade along with the sun shine.
05:30 Trekking up to the crater rim and then continue going back down to Paltuding, it will be much shorter when you do trekking down.
07:00 Rest and breakfast at Paltuding.
08:00 We will leave Ijen crater area and head toward Baluran national park at the border of Banyuwangi and Situbondo regency, it takes around 3 hours drive.
11:00 Arrived at Baluran national park, we will explore the national park using car and visit savanna Bekol and watch the wild animals like Javanese wild bull, deer and many other.
01:00 Break and have lunch at Bama beach.
02:00 Next you can visit mangrove forest around Bama beach
03:00 Free time at Bama beach
04:00 leave Bama beach in Baluran and drive back to Banyuwangi, it takes around 1,5 hour drive
06:00 Arrived in Banyuwangi, tour ends.

• Health Certificate is required for Ijen crater hiking, this certificate can be published either by the clinic in your home country or Indonesia local clinic.
• If you have the Health Certificate from your home country, please bring it, but if you don't have it we an help you to get it from local clinic, additional cost is required, please check it the booking form.
• About Local Guide service in Ijen. If your group number is less than 4 people, the local guide will be shared among other travelers.
• If you’re a foreigner tourist, you should pay additional entrance ticket fee for foreign tourist. Find this additional entrance ticket fee in booking form detail.
• If you book this tour for departure during rainy season (within December up to May), we strongly recommend you to bring a raincoat.
• The average temperature in Mt. Ijen are between 0-10 Celsius degree, depends to the season, the coldest temperature usually in the dry season or within May up to September.
• Booking must be completed at the latest 1 day before tour departure.
• This trip lasts from midnight until the afternoon, it requires physical endurance.
• Itinerary may changes depends to the pick up location, pick up time, traffic conditions and other situations during the tour.

• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
