Mount Bromo Sunrise Group Tour – Sharing Trip from Malang City

00:00–01:00 – Pick‑Up in Malang Our team will pick up all participants from hotels or meeting points around Malang city. This early start ensures you arrive at Mount Bromo in time for the spectacular sunrise. Traveling together in a sharing group makes the trip affordable and social, perfect for solo travelers or small groups.

01:30–03:30 – Jeep Ride to Sunrise Viewpoint Switch to a 4WD Jeep and begin the adventurous ride through rugged terrain toward Penanjakan viewpoint. The journey itself is exciting, as the Jeep climbs winding mountain roads under the starry night sky. This is one of the most famous sunrise spots in East Java, offering panoramic views of Mount Bromo, Mount Semeru, and the Tengger Caldera.

03:30–05:00 – Coffee Break While Waiting for Sunrise Arrive at the viewpoint and take a short break while waiting for dawn. You can warm up with a cup of hot coffee or tea (own expense) from local vendors. The chilly mountain air adds to the anticipation as the horizon slowly brightens.

05:00–06:00 – Sunrise Experience at Mount Bromo Witness the magical moment when the sun rises behind Mount Semeru, casting golden light over Mount Bromo and the surrounding volcanic landscape. This is the highlight of the tour, offering unforgettable photo opportunities and a once‑in‑a‑lifetime view.

06:00–07:00 – Widodaren Hill Photo Stop Continue the journey to Widodaren Hill, a scenic spot known for its dramatic cliffs and panoramic views. This is a great place to capture unique photos of the volcanic scenery before heading to the crater.

07:00–08:30 – Trekking to Bromo Crater Begin a short trek of about 30–40 minutes across the Sea of Sand to reach the rim of Mount Bromo’s active crater. Feel the thrill as you stand at the edge, looking down into the smoking crater and listening to the rumble of the volcano beneath your feet.

08:30–09:00 – Whispering Sands Stop Explore the mystical Whispering Sands, a vast desert‑like area where the wind creates a soft, whispering sound across the dunes. This unique landscape is perfect for photos and adds variety to your Bromo adventure.

09:00–10:00 – Teletubbies Hill / Savanna Visit the lush green savanna known as Teletubbies Hill, named for its rolling grassy slopes. This peaceful area contrasts beautifully with the volcanic desert and is another favorite photo spot for visitors.

10:00–13:00 – Return to Malang After exploring all the highlights, board the Jeep and transfer back to Malang city. Arrive around midday with unforgettable memories of your Bromo sunrise adventure.

• Sunrise Viewpoint – Watch the famous Bromo sunrise from Penanjakan or alternative spots like Bukit Kingkong, Bukit Cinta, Mentigen, or Seruni Point.
• Widodaren Hill – Scenic stop with panoramic volcanic views, perfect for photos.
• Bromo Crater – Trek across the Sea of Sand to the rim of Mount Bromo’s active crater.
• Poten Temple – Visit the sacred Hindu temple in the middle of the Sea of Sand.
• Whispering Sands – Explore the desert‑like dunes with unique landscapes.
• Teletubbies Hill / Savanna – Capture lush green slopes contrasting with Bromo’s volcanic scenery.

• This is a Join group trip/Sharing group trip, other travelers will join this tour with you and together exploring Bromo.
• This trip includes pick up from any public places around Malang city center area, including participant’s hotel. Picking up will be started at around 00:00AM up to 1:00AM, you may wait for sometime until your pick up turn, please be patient, keep in contact with our local crew for the updates.
• When you make booking, please set the departure date of this trip into the date of sunrise not the day before.
• Batu city is not included in the pick up area, if you want to be pick up from Batu city center, you should add addon service for it into your package.
• After all the participants are collected, together we will do Bromo sunrise tour.
• After the tour done, we will transfer you back to your hotels around the city of Malang.

• Warm clothes including jacket, gloves and head cover
• Trekking shoe is recommended
• Masker is recommended on the dry season
• Personal medicine if needed
• Head lamp, it will help you during the night activity
• Cash, most local stall around Bromo area does not accept cards or electronic wallet

• Advance Reservation: Booking must be completed at least 3 days before departure to secure Jeep and permits.
• Age Requirement: Participants must be minimum 5 years old and maximum 65 years old to join this trip.
• Viewpoints: Main sunrise spot is Penanjakan; alternatives include Bukit Kingkong, Bukit Cinta, Mentigen, or Seruni Point depending on conditions.
• Weather & Clothing: Night temperatures at Bromo can drop to 5–10°C. Bring warm jackets, gloves, and head covers.
• Best Season: The clearest sunrises are usually during the dry season (May–September).
• Meals: Breakfast is not included. You may bring your own or purchase snacks/food from local vendors.
• Local Guide & Contact: After booking, we’ll send you the name and phone number of our officer in charge at least 1 day before departure.
• Physical Activity: A short trek (30–40 minutes) is required to reach the crater rim; moderate fitness recommended.
• Attractions Covered: Sunrise viewpoint, Widodaren Hill, Bromo crater, Poten Temple, Whispering Sands, and Teletubbies Hill/Savanna.
• Flexibility: Itinerary and timetable may change due to pick‑up location, traffic, or weather conditions.
• Force Majeure: We reserve the right to cancel the trip in case of force majeure situations (see Terms of Service).
