Meet our friendly crew for a short tour briefing before heading to Cemoro Lawang village, the gateway to Mount Bromo. The scenic drive takes approximately 3–3.5 hours, depending on traffic.

02:00 PM – Arrive at Cemoro Lawang & Switch to 4WD
Upon arrival at Cemoro Lawang, take a brief rest before transferring to a 4WD Hardtop vehicle for the off-road journey into Bromo’s volcanic terrain. Begin your trek to the crater rim of Mount Bromo, explore the mystical Sea of Sands, and enjoy a close-up view of the sacred Poten Temple nestled in the desert.

05:30 PM – Sunset at Penanjakan Viewpoint
Reach Penanjakan Viewpoint just in time to witness the breathtaking sunset over the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Capture panoramic views of the volcanoes bathed in golden light—an unforgettable moment for nature lovers and photographers.

07:00 PM – Return to Cemoro Lawang
Head back to Cemoro Lawang village for a well-deserved rest and dinner. Reflect on the day’s highlights while enjoying the cool mountain air.

08:00 PM – Transfer Back to Malang
Depart for Malang with a comfortable 3.5-hour drive through East Java’s scenic highlands.

11:00 PM – Tour Ends in Malang
Arrive back at your hotel or drop-off point in Malang. Tour complete, memories made.

• Warm layered clothing Temperatures drop fast—especially at the viewpoint. Think thermal base + fleece + windbreaker.
• Sturdy shoes with grip The volcanic sand and rocky paths demand proper footwear. Hiking boots or trail sneakers are ideal.
• Scarf or face mask Vital for blocking volcanic dust, especially near the Sea of Sand or crater rim.
• Camera or smartphone (with power bank) Sunset over Bromo is surreal—don’t miss the shot. A power bank ensures you won’t run out of juice mid-tour.
• Headlamp or flashlight Crucial if you’re walking back after sunset. Some paths are unlit and uneven.
• Cash in small notes For local snacks, toilet fees, or tipping your jeep driver. ATMs aren’t nearby.

• Itinerary flexibility The tour route and timing may change depending on your pickup location (Surabaya, Malang, or Probolinggo), traffic conditions, weather, and other on-site factors. Be prepared for adjustments during the day.
• Booking deadline Reservations must be completed at least one day before departure to allow time for permit processing and tour coordination.
• Minimum participants This tour operates daily but requires a minimum of 2 people per booking.
• Foreign tourist entrance fee Non-Indonesian visitors must pay an additional entrance fee to enter Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. This fee is listed as an optional charge on the booking page—make sure to mark it if it applies to you.
• Weather and terrain conditions Dry season (May–October) offers clearer skies, while rainy season (November–March) may bring fog and slippery paths. Expect cold temperatures (5–15°C) at the viewpoint and volcanic dust near the crater—dress warmly and bring a scarf or mask.
• Physical readiness and footwear Some walking is required, especially to reach the crater rim. Wear sturdy shoes with good grip and avoid open-toed footwear. This tour may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations.

• International ticket: Rp255.000
• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
