Malang Temple Tour: Explore 5 Ancient Heritage Sites

08:00 AM – We will pick you up from your hotel, airport, train station, or any public location within Malang city. After a brief introduction with our crew, we’ll begin the Malang temple tour. Our first destination is Singosari Temple, located in Singosari sub-district. This historic Hindu temple is a legacy of the powerful Singhasari Kingdom. Next, we’ll visit Sumberawan Temple, a serene stupa-style temple also linked to the Singhasari era.
12:00 PM – Break and lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic East Javanese cuisine.
01:00 PM – After lunch, we’ll head to Badut Temple in Dau sub-district. This ancient Hindu temple is a relic of the Kanjuruhan Kingdom, which predates Singhasari. We’ll then visit Jago Temple, a Buddhist temple with intricate reliefs, located in Tumpang sub-district. In the same area, we’ll explore Kidal Temple, known for its elegant carvings and royal symbolism from the Singhasari period.
03:00 PM – We’ll return to your hotel. If time permits, we’ll stop by a local souvenir and snack center in Malang city for some shopping and cultural treats.
04:00 PM – Tour ends.
