Mount Bromo Day Tour from Surabaya

  • 07:00 AM – (Optional) If you’d like to visit Madakaripura Waterfall before heading to Bromo, we’ll begin the tour one hour earlier.
  • 08:00 AM – Pick-up from your hotel or any location within Surabaya city. Meet our crew, receive a short tour briefing, and begin the scenic drive to Cemoro Lawang village at the foot of Mount Bromo. The journey takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours depending on traffic.
  • 11:00 AM – Arrive at Cemoro Lawang. Take a short rest before switching to a 4WD Jeep (Hardtop). Begin the one-hour drive to Penanjakan Viewpoint, the best spot to witness Bromo’s iconic sunrise and panoramic views of the Tengger caldera.
  • 12:00 PM – Explore the Sea of Sand and trek to the crater rim of Mount Bromo. Visit Poten Temple, a sacred site for the Tenggerese people located in the heart of the volcanic desert.
  • 02:00 PM – Continue the tour with a photo stop at the Sea of Sand, capturing the surreal volcanic landscape.
  • 03:00 PM – Return to Cemoro Lawang for lunch and a short rest.
  • 04:00 PM – Depart back to Surabaya. The drive takes approximately 3.5 hours.
