Day 1 – Malang to Mount Bromo Sunrise & Crater Tour

07:00 AM – Pickup in Malang Begin your journey with a hotel or location pickup in Malang city. Meet our crew for a short briefing before heading to Cemoro Lawang, the gateway to Mount Bromo. The scenic drive takes approximately 3–3.5 hours depending on traffic.
10:00 AM – Arrive at Cemoro Lawang Take a short rest before switching to a 4WD Hardtop vehicle. Continue to Penanjakan Viewpoint, the best spot to witness the sunrise over Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.
11:00 AM – Explore Bromo Crater & Poten Temple Trek to the rim of Mount Bromo’s active crater and enjoy close-up views of Poten Temple, located in the heart of the Sea of Sand. Capture dramatic photos of this surreal volcanic landscape.
13:00 PM – Photo Stop at Sea of Sand Make a brief stop for photos in the Sea of Sand before returning to Cemoro Lawang for lunch and rest.
14:00 PM – Transfer to Sempol, Bondowoso Depart for Sempol village near Ijen Crater. The drive takes around 5–6 hours through scenic East Java countryside.
20:00 PM – Check-In & Overnight Stay Arrive at your hotel in Sempol, Bondowoso. Check in and rest overnight in preparation for the Ijen blue fire trek.

Day 2 – Ijen Crater Blue Fire Trek & Return to Malang

01:00 AM – Depart to Paltuding Base Camp Start early and head to Paltuding, the main base camp for Ijen Crater trekking. The drive takes about 30 minutes.
01:30 AM – Arrive at Paltuding & Prepare for Trek Take a short rest while we arrange your entrance ticket and prepare for the hike.
02:00 AM – Trek to Ijen Crater Rim Begin the 1.5–2 hour trek to the crater rim. Along the way, meet traditional sulfur miners and learn about their daily routines.
03:30 AM – Witness the Ijen Blue Fire Descend into the crater to see the famous blue flames—visible only before sunrise. Watch miners extract sulfur and carry it in bamboo baskets.
05:00 AM – Return Trek to Paltuding Climb back to the rim and descend to Paltuding. The downhill trek is faster and easier.
06:00 AM – Breakfast & Rest at Paltuding Enjoy a light breakfast and relax before the return journey.
08:00 AM – Transfer Back to Malang Depart for Malang via a 7–8 hour drive through East Java’s scenic landscapes.
16:00 PM – Tour Ends in Malang Arrive back in Malang, marking the end of your unforgettable 2-day volcano tour.

• Mask or Respirator – Helps filter sulfur fumes near Ijen’s crater. A wet cloth can work as a basic alternative.
• Raincoat or Windbreaker – Weather can be unpredictable in the mountains; stay dry and protected.

• Snacks & Water – Stay hydrated and energized during long drives and treks.

• Daily Availability & Booking Deadline This tour operates every day with a minimum of 2 participants. Booking must be completed at least 3 days before departure to ensure proper arrangements.
• Flexible Pickup & Drop-off The tour can start and end at any location in Surabaya, including hotels, airports, harbors, or public places. Drop-off in Banyuwangi Regency is available for an additional fee—see booking page for details.
• Accommodation Details Hotel rooms are based on twin-sharing (1 room for 2 persons). If your group has an odd number of participants, an extra bed will be added to one of the rooms.
• Itinerary Flexibility The itinerary may change depending on weather, traffic, or local conditions. Pickup times and route adjustments will be communicated as needed.
• Madakaripura Waterfall Add-On If you include Madakaripura Waterfall in your package, the tour will depart 2 hours earlier to accommodate this scenic stop before visiting Mount Bromo.
• Temperature & Seasonal Tips Expect cold temperatures ranging from 0–10°C at both Bromo and Ijen during the dry season. The best time to visit is between July and October, when conditions are clearest.
• International Tourist Fees Entrance fees for Mount Bromo and Ijen Crater differ for local and international tourists. If you're an international traveler, be sure to include these fees during booking.
• Trekking & Safety The Ijen Crater trek involves 1.5–2 hours of uphill hiking and exposure to sulfur fumes. A mask or respirator is strongly recommended. Moderate physical fitness is advised.
• Final Confirmation After booking, you’ll receive the name and contact number of your assigned tour officer at least 1 day before departure for coordination and support.

• International ticket: Rp415.000
• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
