Day 1 – Kalibaru to Sukamade via Meru Betiri National Park

09:00 AM – We’ll pick you up from your hotel or meeting point in Kalibaru or Jember. After a brief introduction with our crew and a short tour briefing, we begin the journey to Meru Betiri National Park, located on the border of Jember and Banyuwangi. The drive takes approximately 5 hours, passing through lush rainforest and river crossings.

12:00 PM – If you’ve added the Green Bay Beach (Teluk Hijau) tour to your package, we’ll visit this stunning white-sand beach before reaching Sukamade. A 40-minute trek through forest trails leads to this hidden paradise, surrounded by rocky cliffs and turquoise waters—perfect for photos and relaxation.

02:00 PM – Continue the journey by 4WD to Sukamade Beach, crossing several rivers before arriving at the Sukamade Guest House, a simple accommodation provided by the national park for visitors and rangers. We’ll stay overnight here.

03:30 PM – Check-in and enjoy free time. You’re welcome to visit the nearby turtle conservation center, located just steps from the guest house.

07:00 PM – Dinner will be served at the guest house cafeteria.

08:00 PM – Join a guided night walk to observe nesting sea turtles on Sukamade Beach. A park ranger will provide instructions and accompany you throughout the activity. The experience may last until midnight, depending on turtle sightings.

Day 2 – Turtle Release & Transfer to Banyuwangi

06:00 AM – Head to Sukamade Beach with baby turtles in hand and take part in the magical moment of releasing them into the ocean. Don’t forget your camera!

07:00 AM – Return to the guest house for breakfast and free time.

08:00 AM – Depart for Banyuwangi. The drive takes around 5 hours.

02:00 PM – Tour ends in Banyuwangi, with drop-off available at your hotel, train station, Ketapang Harbor, or other public location.

Optional Add-On: If you’ve included the Red Island Beach (Pantai Pulau Merah) tour, we’ll visit it before concluding the trip. Expect a late afternoon arrival in Banyuwangi.

• Tour Availability & Booking Policy This tour operates daily with a minimum of 2 participants. Bookings must be completed at least 2 days before departure. Prices listed apply to local tourists; foreign tourists will be charged an additional national park entrance fee, which must be included during booking.
• Pickup Area Pickup is available only from Kalibaru or Jember. Please confirm your hotel or meeting point in these areas when booking.
• Drop-Off Options The tour ends in Banyuwangi, with flexible drop-off at your hotel, train station, Ketapang Harbor, or other public locations.
• Accommodation Details Overnight stay is at the Sukamade Guest House, managed by Meru Betiri National Park. Rooms are shared, with up to 3 guests per room. Facilities are basic but clean, with limited mobile signal and no air conditioning.
• Trekking & Terrain Expect off-road driving, river crossings, and jungle trekking. A moderate fitness level is required. The tour is not recommended for children under 7 years old due to terrain and duration.
• Wildlife Experience The night turtle nesting observation is guided by park rangers. The morning hatchling release is a highlight—bring your camera to capture this special moment. Turtle sightings are not guaranteed, as they depend on nature.
• Weather & Seasonal Notes The itinerary may change due to weather, traffic, or unexpected conditions. If traveling during the rainy season (December to March), bring a raincoat or umbrella for comfort and safety.
• Optional Add-Ons You may extend your tour with visits to Green Bay Beach (Teluk Hijau) and/or Red Island Beach (Pantai Pulau Merah). If Red Island is selected, arrival in Banyuwangi will be in the late afternoon.

• Each attraction ticket is valid for 1 time use in a day per person.
• Children (2-5) years old Non-Indonesian ID Card Holder are also subject for this additional fee.
